So i ordered this hometown crony engineered wood semi-open book shelf from flipkart and the product page it said that the product can be delivered within a week time. So i ordered the product using flipkart pay later emi option on 29th september. Now, pay later service mandate consumer to pay by 15th day or every month and i thought it would be enough time for them to deliver the bookshelf, considering even if, worst case scenario, delivery is one week late.
Anyway, i complete the order and i am surprised to see the delivery expected date was pushed to 18th of october and installation was suppose to happen within next 48 hours of delivery (By 20th october). I was sad about the whole extended delay of close to a month, but i didn't cancel the order in the 24 hour window, thinking it will be alright.
I am suppose to be leaving for holidays for my village on 24th october, and i have yet to receive the order which was suppose to be completed 4 days ago. I see the product tracking and it hasn't been updated at all, and only after i complained at flipkart support, it was updated and it seems to me that the package hasn't even left the city it originated from. Today (24th) i am going out of city for 10 days. Who will take responsibility for this mess?
By the way, flipkart sure did issued statement and accepted first installment for the order they haven't even delivered yet.
