I have placed an order for Crompton Air Cooler 100L. On the day of delivery, when it is switched on, the water pump didn't start. After confirming that it is not working, i raised the retrun request. As part of return approval, a technician visit is scheduled on the next day of delivery. However, every day it got postponed and that technician visit didn't happen. It's been rescheduled 4 times already.
The technician allocated to me didn't change in all those 4 days and the person is not reachable via the contact information provided on the app. It appears to me that the technician has blocked the company caller ID this customer calls don't reach him.
I have prepaid for my order and I'm stuck with a defective air cooler which didn't get return approved. I called the customer care multiple times to resolve the issue by auto approving the return or providing me the contact details of the technician.
Because I live alone, i had to be at home everyday since the purchase waiting for the technician to visit only to get a notification in the evening that it's rescheduled again.
1. Customer Care of Flipkart promised me that Jeeves will solve it and shared their number. Jeeves denied any responsibility for return approval.
2. Another executive of Flipkart promised me that i will get a replacement two days ago and it didn't happen and put on hold.
3. Another executive said, the return got approved because the timeline is breached twice but that also didn't happen.
I request for Swift action and resolution of this problem. I'm appalled to know that the customer service executives have little to no means of helping customers who are struggling with returns and replacement.
