Dear Grievance Officer,
I am writing to bring to your attention an issue with a TV I purchased
from Flipkart, which has a manufacturing defect.
Below are the details of the order and the issue:

Date of Return Request for Replacement: 31.10.2024
Date of Return Rejected by Flipkart: 06.11.2024
Date of Flipkart Customer Care Support Hands-off: 08.11.2024
Issue Description:
I am writing to request a replacement for the TV I recently purchased
from Flipkart. Unfortunately, the product was found with manufacturing
defect which I later observed the TV I found issue with the back panel
was misaligned, during open box delivery i have failed to notice it
and not inspected much because of trust on Flipkart, this defect might
cause flies and insects get inside the back case/pannel and cause
damage to the motherboard and which effect the durability and safety
of the product. So I kindly request you to replace the TV. [Enclosed PDF of Photos]
*I have already attempted to resolve this through Flipkart’s customer service.
However, despite raising a ticket and contacting customer support
multiple times:
1. I requested a return through return option
2. Then after 2nd day I called flipkart customer service associate
they said we will definitely arrange the replacement but wait till
06.11.2024
3. So I have said the same to the technician who called me for
installation so he said to call me back after replacement of TV
4. But on 06.11.2024 i got the call from Flipkart customer support
team and they said we have forwarded the same to seller and seller is
ready to provide an compensation of 15% but i requested them for a
replacement the flipkart CSA said i will update the same by raising
another issue but not done in return they have removed the return
option for the product before the expiry of return time and closed the
issue.
5. So, I raised the issue through flipkart chat and call regarding the
replacement of the product, but in return they raised my issue
mentioning the false statement "service center list is needed"
6. Got a call from Flipkart CSA he said provide us a job sheet/service
note from authorised service center so that we can arrange a
replacement through TCL, so i contacted TCL CSA they said mail us so i
sent mail to TCL requesting Job sheet and replacement if possible, but
TCL replied me the flipkart customer support email ID and said send
the mail to them and they mentioned TV as in-transit damage. [Enclosed Email reply from TCL-1]
7. I got a call from flipkart and asked for the Job-sheet/service note
or the reply from the TCL brand so i forwarded the same through mail
to Flipkart CSA, in reply he said i will update this and our customer
team will solve the issue in 2days.
8. On 08.11.2024 : I called the TCL customer support and asked for Job
sheet/service note they provided me a number who can provide a job
sheet/service note for your location so i called him and asked for job
sheet he replied i didn't received any request from Flipkart to issue
job sheet and he said i can't provide job sheet/service note till i
receive a request from Flipkart and also said its almost 8+Days you
received TV and the Flipkart team not contacted till now regarding the
Manufacturing defect. How simply the CSA team ignored my issue.
9. I got a call from the flipkart CSA he said its an open box delivery
and I can't do anything. You have to go to the service center and opt
for a paid service even if you provide us with a job sheet/service
note as time is over.
10. On 08.11.2024: mentioning same issue mail sent to Flipkart Grievance Officer.
11. On 12.11.2024: Received a call from Flipkart Customer Associate and asked to request a mail by TCL regarding the product damage issue so i have requested TCL on call and by mail. and I got a return mail from TCL mentioning: "We already shared mail to Flipkart team about your transit damaged product TV as per DOA policy, for transit damaged product replacement will be done from Flipkart end only kindly contact Flipkart CC team for your Product replacement. " [Email Enclosed]
12. As per Flipkart request, I have forwarded the mail received from TCL to Flipkart CS and after this no reply by Flipkart team now even after sending request mail again.
@Despite the issue remains unresolved!
I kindly request you that Flipkart initiate a replacement for the
defective unit at the earliest.
