[Resolved]  Flipkart — Return request is not being entertained

Hi,

I was a regular customer of flipkart from long back and was very satisfied with the service up to my last purchase of Asus Zenfone 2 (silver, 32GB) that I ordered on 3/10/2016 the order number being OD[protected].

The item was delivered on 6 Oct. 2016, I reside in Noida and since the delivery of the item was not open for the Noida I had to order it at my friend's place in Parpatganj New delhi.

I picked it up from Parpatganj on 8 Oct and checked it by inserting the SIM I was using at that moment, the phone could not detect the SIM in its primary slot and I thought that there is a problem with the SIM so in took one day to get the new SIM card. After inserting the new SIM the results were same and after that I checked the phone with various SIM cards of my known people but everytime there was no signal found or if the signal came it was only for few minutes.

The second issue was that on dialing any number the screen got totally blacked out and took much waiting period before it started to act.

I finally decided to return the ASUS Zenfone as it was a defective piece and I posted the refund request on 11/10/2016 which was within the return request valid time period of 10 days.

That was the day[protected] and up till today, each day I am corresponding with the customer care of flipkart for resolving my issue but the condition remains the same.

I simply want to to return the phone and get the refund in my account for the defective phone.

Return request posted on 11/10/2016:For the first time the technician visit was scheduled and we mentioned our Noida address in the place which gave us the option to change the address for the return scheduling through the website.

The technician visit was scheduled on 14/10/2016 but he did not turn up denied to attend us just because the address was different from the delivery address.

I received a mail on 16/10 that technician visit was completed and refund is initiated and the matter will be solved latest by 22/10, then the date extended to 24/10 later when we again reminded on 24/10 we were told that it will be done till 27/10.

Suddenly, I received a mail telling that they could not arrange the things at our Noida address so we will have to make the phone available at the delivery address and the return request was cancelled.

So, left without any option we dropped the phone at the Parpatganj address and informed the customer care executive to proceed on our case, no action took place only we got fake assurance of action being taken each new day.

Again and again we reminded for the pickup and everytime we told the CS people that phone has been dropped at the delivery address.

Finally the return request was once again accepted by flipkart and again the process started on 3/11/2016 that is yesterday (after whole one month of purchase) and the technician visit was scheduled for 5/11/2016.

Still the unfortune did not leave us and in the evening yesterday we received a message that the technician visit has been cancelled and I received SMS on my no.[protected] that the technician visit has been cancelled and the next SMS saying that the pickup has been cancelled "since we want to keep the phone".

Do you think I am mad that after whole one month of mental torture that I had to bear I will say that I want to keep the defective phone with me, please show me a single text or audio clip where I have said that I want to keep the phone.

Is this is the credibility of Flipkart? is this how you people have started harassing your customer, may be for you this is a joke but for me Rs.9, 999.00 is a big amount and I seriously need my money back.

Please take a quick action to resolve this matter at the earliest.

Flipkart Customer Care's response
Tried calling the customer in this number "[protected]" but unable to reach as there were no response. On checking the records we found that the refund has been given.

So closing the case.

I have ordered a mobile phone on 23rd Oct 2016. The phone received os not as per specification given on net. There is no battery backup. I just want to return the phone. I am calling customer service from 5 days but there is no positive response from the people.
