[Resolved]  Flipkart — seal already open on helios laptop worth 1.4 lakhs

I paid 1lakh for an acer predator helios laptop that was on sale. When i received the laptop, the seal on the brand box was already opened. So that means, somebody already used the laptop.

I initiated a replacement on jan 25th. It is now feb 11th and have no heard from retailnet even once. Apparently my phone is 'busy' every time they call. They cancelled my replacement request 6 times already and some of them without even providing a reason. Flipkart says "there is nothing we can do, the seller has all the control". They can not even refund my money.

Retailnet is just wasting time so i will get fed up and start using the fake product. Flipkart is the most useless site where they have 0 control over how the seller treats the customers. They cant provide a date or resolution. This is the worst experience ever.

Here is the update. After 20 days on feb 14th 2019, which was yesterday, they sent a replacement laptop. The new replacement Laptop has the EXACT SAME issue as the first one. All the seals were open again. So I have kept both laptops and not returned them till flipkart solves this issue. The new laptop is soooooo dusty it looks like it has been in storage for centuries. This is a flipkart assured product btw which means they apparently do 6 quality checks. Clearly not even 1 quality check has been done.

On 14th Feb there was a 9th replacement request that was raised. They promised a resolution to the problem by 19th feb which is today. The back end team followed up on the request everyday by calling me and telling me they will resolve it by 19th. However, I have not got a call or email from them today. I am done trying to reach their support team

The seller's support team does not work weekends apparently!! How on earth are they in e-commerce and do not work on weekends is anybody's guess. That is the amount of power a seller has over flipkart. They can do anything and get away with it.
