Hi Consumer Complaints team,
This is regarding an order for an iPhone 12 that I had I placed on Flipkart( for INR 60, 028). The order ID. is OD[protected].
The order was out for delivery in the morning of July 8th and after calling the delivery guy multiple times, it was delivered in the night. ( Delivery guy mentioned that his bike was not working well among other issues when asked for the reason of delay). Finally when I opened the package, iPhone seal was broken. I raised the issue with Flipkart immediately and I was told that they can only replace this package since return is against flipkart policy. I hesitated but I agreed and they said that they can replace this by 16th July.
When the new delivery guy came for replacement, he mentioned that the IMEI number on the 1st iPhone does not match with what's there in the system( meaning something was done when the seal was broken) and they did not provide me with a replacement phone. Had I not been aware, I would have not even raised this concern and flipkart would never know
I have spoken opened a support chat with Flipkart as there is no recording of verbal communication we've had in the past 10 days. The chat representative keeps switching every 5 min and no actions have been taken on this issue yet
