[Resolved] Flipkart — seller cancelled my order twice | |||||
I placed an order for item - redgear pro series (Wireless) gamepad (Black, for pc) on 30th dec 2018 (Order no. Od[protected]. Payment got confirmed and seller shipped the product. Next day, i get an email that order has been cancelled due to high demand for the product. I go on the site and see if item is available, and to my surprise i see that item is available on my pin code and is getting sold by the seller. Money will be refunded to the payment source in 7 days. So now flipkart has my money for 7 days. Here the seller is retailnet. I called customer care on 31st dec 2018 and ask for the reason for cancellation. There were couple of agents who gave me wrong information. I asked for escalation manager, the guy there told that item reached my area, but it got damaged hence seller cancelled the order. He requested me to place the order again, i did while on call with him (Order no. Od[protected]. And guess what i woke up next day to see that my order is cancelled again by the seller. I called customer care again on 1st jan 2019, wasting time to explain to the person on other side. He did not have the seller information or the reason why order was cancelled. When i asked him to reinstate the order and send the item to me, he asked me to place a fresh order, which is again stupidity at this point. At a point he told me that i have placed bulk order which is why order got cancelled. So i painfully explained him that ordering 1 item is not a bulk order. Call recording is also available. It seemed that they have no information about this and casually apologize for whatever scam flipkart is running here. Flipkart is running a scam to take money from customers and hold it for weeks before it gets refunded. This is outrageous and they also fail to acknowledge the problem.
