Complaint marked as Resolved Sub: Complaint against Flipkart for not refunding the amount
Dear Sir,
We ordered whirlpool NEO 278GD PRM at Rs. 24299/ on 26 January 2023 as shown in the Flipkart app, but received a different model Whirlpool Neo 278GD CLS PLUS on 1 February 2023, immediately we called Flipkart customer care and the executive agreed that they did a huge mistake in delivering the right model refrigerator. I asked for a replacement but they told me that product is out of stock and when it will stock back it's not been confirmed so the executive raised a refund request from their side. even though we are ready to wait for the stock, he said that the model of the fridge is 2022 and there is no idea when it will be available in 2023. Then we got a message about the rejection of the refund request from the seller's side on 5 February 2023. I connected with customer care many times they said they don't have an option for a refund as per policy. And that time they don't have stock so they are giving a refund option but now they have stock so they are giving a replacement option. They replied to us after 4 days and rejected our refund request because they have stock now. I had urgency to buy a fridge to keep insulin medicine as they have cleared that the model of the fridge we want is not going to come in stock. They were ready to refund our amount so we bought offline. Now they are not ready to return it's a big amount for us Rs. 24299/-. Please do the needful.
