Flipkart — Wrong item delivered and replacement not offered.

Vide order ID OD[protected] dated 16.10.2020 order was placed for Pigeon easy mop deluxe model with stainless steel spinner from flipkart having retailnet seller which is flipkart own brand. However the order which was delivered on 29.10.2020 was a totally different model I.e pigeon cleaning mop lx model which is a lower model and has plastic spinner. When the flipkart customer care was contacted, the customer was harassed like anything and the call was kept on hold for several minutes in the same of issue being escalated but in vain. The flipkart team totally denied the replacement for the product which was a different one from the ordered one. The issue wasted my precious time and energy and i want a logical explanation and apology in this regard. The product which is shown at a certain price during any sale shall be delivered and not cancelled or changed with a different product as the seller wishes. The prepaid amount was kept with the seller for many days and this a pure case of deliberate misconduct and unethical buisness practice. I want a replacement for the product or the difference amount of the product delivered and the actual price of the product.

Hi, We are sorry for the trouble caused. The seller has processed the refund of Rs.900 for order ID: OD[protected] on Nov 01 2020 and will reflect in your bank account by Nov 12 2020. Request you to note down the ARN:[protected]. If you do not see the refund in your account by this time, please check the previous statement/unbilled transaction before reaching out to the bank. You may contact your bank’s customer care using the number mentioned on the back of your card. Hope this helps.

The complaint was not regarding the refund but the deliberate intention of delivering a different product wrt what is shown in the order page. I asked for logical explanation for what was the issue in providing the replacement of the product which was ordered against the wrongly delivered one? The product was available with the flipkart owned seller Retailnet, but they denied the delivery of the product which was ordered.
