I ordered recently for my brother's birthday. There was an option to select date of delivery. I selected the same and paid online. AFTER payment, they send an email saying that since my requested date of cake delivery was on a festival day, they will not be able to deliver. My question is: Then why the hell was the delivery date option available? Why not inform this to the customer BEFORE taking their money??
Secondly, I had to cancel my order and as per their policy, my money should have been refunded within 5-7 working days. I have called them thrice and everytime I get to hear that my refund is under process. Their arrogant and highly inefficient customer care representative named Ajay told me arrogantly that no matter how many times I call, they would take their own sweet time (on being reminded that I have called thrice). Is this a way to treat a customer to whom you have made false promises, taken their money and then shown attitude once the money is taken? That too when that same customer has been a repeated buyer every year since the last three years? This is mental harrassment on grounds of YOUR inefficiency. Was this information helpful? |
