Ford — CAR STOPS ABRUPTLY-ENGINE CUT OFF WHILE DRIVING

This is with reference to my Ford Figo purchased in March 2013. I have been facing the problem of the car stopping abruptly while driving. i started facing this problem 5 months after purchasing the car. After repeated attempts to rectify the same I am still facing the same problem till date. I have 5 job cards with respect to this issue. The latest addition to this is that the car when stopped for 2-3 mins doesn't take self and refuses to start. I feel Ford India is incapable to handle this issue and hence my complaints are falling on deaf ears. I would suggest anyone who is planning to buy a car from Ford to refrain from doing so as they would be putting their own life in danger along with their near and dear ones.. Please spread the word..

had the same problem after 65000 kms which was risky while driving on main roads and embarrassing too. They replace EGR valve for Rs 20K and problem solved. There are too many defects in Ford cars which surface soon after 50000 kms.

I have purchased ford figo in 2016. Suddenly in 2023, may car is getting stopped abruptly while driving. I sent the car to ford dealer lahoal, assam. They did the servincing and said issue has been taken care and took 10000, replacing battery, wiring etc. Again the same issue arrised, now they are saying PCM card is damaged, which is very costly. from last 2months they are keeping the car in their workshop( FORD lahoal and Tinsukia). Neither they are returning the car nor they are solving the issues permanently.
