Ford Figo 1.4 TDCI Injector Failure

I purchased my Ford Figo 1.4 TDCi Titanium variant for a little over ₹7 Lakh in June of 2013. After about 50K kms I started feeling the power drop in the low rpm band. During my services with Metro Ford in Bangalore, I had informed the service engineers about this issue multiple times but they would just top up oil and then give me advise on tyre pressure and then send me on my way. I wish to lodge a complaint re :
1. the Hugely inordinate delay - of OVER A MONTH - in getting my following car repaired - apparently due to lack of a spare part = MODUL TRANS CONTROL
2. Lack of Information : the fact that the dealer / workshop - HARPREET FORD, GURGAON is unable to give me any idea of when to expect the car to be repaired - as they do not have the part needed.
3. And the fact that this is causing me IMMENSE INCONVENIENCE and extra COST in carrying out my daily routine, as a Doctor - needing to visit the hospital at both routine and emergency hours - - with NO sign of any consideration by Ford or its dealer in this regard to alleviate or compensate me for this .
Car No : HR 26 CP 5021Ford EcosportWas stranded on the road and was towed to the garage on : 17 May 2022Had been serviced just 6 weeks earlier !
Was told after a few days that some parts in the the gear box needed replaced - and had to be ordered .
I made an advance payment for the same and waited for a response from the workshop.
Ten days later I was told that while two parts had arrived, this did not suffice, one more was required and was not in stock, and would take a few days to arrive = MODUL TRANS CONTROL
Constant followup with the workshop for updates gave me the same response - and then I was told that the parts were likely to arrive by 12 June 2022.
Please note - By this time, We were already now 4 weeks down the line.
I was recently - 15 June 2022 - informed that the part has still not arrived, and there is no intimation of when it will arrive .
All this time - for the last 5 weeks, I have been taking TAXISto get from home to the hospital and back, both during routine working times as well as emergencies.
I am extremely disappointed to say the least, very inconvenienced and now very upset to see the status of customer service from a reputable company like FORD, in this regard.
There does not seem to be any consideration at all for the service to the customer - post sales - or any compassion or consideration for the huge inconvenience the customer might be facing due to lack of spare parts at the end of the company .
I have been extremely distressed with this the last five weeks, and still am in the dark as to when this trauma will continue . Plus the huge additional cost I have incurred hiring a taxi on a daily basis for the last five weeks - all due to the lack of my car or a replacement - that could have been considered, given the inordinate delay due to lack of spare parts with the company.

I would only say that I would ensure that NO SICK PATIENT of mine would ever have to go through this trauma in getting timely treatment from my end - and have to suffer due to any delay whatsoever.

I await to hear from someone responsible and considerate in the company in this regard.

    I would like to bring in your notice that i sent my ford ecosport car for service today (19th june) in ford centre faridabad, staff was rude, they did not hear me out, sent the car back with incomplete car maintainence, parts are not fixed properly, front bumper is broken, after payment no one is picking the call in the centre nor the advisor AMIT Mishra and not the customer care people.

      I have diesel ford ecosport 2016 model.
      My vehicle is consuming the engine oil more than normal, ( after 1000 km it consume more oil than normal).my cars total run is 77000 kms. sir as i see there are multiple users faced similar issue. last time Ford service center changed my cars turbo due to this but issue still persist, i searched the reason and solution on internet their was so many complaints were their for the same. now as we are very much liked the eco-sport and prefer this vehicle than others. need a proper solution from your side.         My car was sent for repairs on 7th May 2022 to Harpreet Ford Service Centre in Gurgaon after an accident. It's been a month and the car is still lying unattended and the repair works have not yet started. I have been following up and chasing with the officials at the Gurgaon Service Centre of Harpreet Ford, but they are dilly dallying and not giving any reasons for the delay.

        I assume that the repairs work itself will consume a lot of time and if the repair works will not start then a customer is harassed for the time lost. At least the service centre should start the repairs in a timely manner given that repairs also take a lot of time. Ford India cannot shirk off its liability after exiting the country and this is not the service we expect especially when the car has just been bought (its not even 2 years since i bought it)

          Sir today i visit jayshree ford jamshedpur for a regular servicing of my ford fiesta car bearing no-od11d2615 at 10.30am. As before i get call from the showroom 5-7 times for servicing i reach their with out booking from odisha. They received my vehicle and tell after lunch we can serve you bcoz we do first booking vehicle.I agreed.But at 5pm when i came to know that my vehicle still in parking, then i ask for delay .They argue and misbehave and tell we cant do today.I tell them i came from a distance of 150km only for servicing.If you are not able to service me then why you heldup me from morning to evening.Then they tell go for complaint we not care.This hurt me bcoz i use ford vehicle since 20years.And my first ford vehicle purchase from this showroom.All discussion known to miss payal

            I proudly bought a Ford endeavour in July 2021 (less than a year) and was taking pleasure in driving it and recommending it to many for buying the same when suddenly I started facing an issue of Engine Lamp Glowing somewhere in March 2022. The vehicle was called in for the resolution by Harpreet Ford Moti Nagar, issue resolved and sent back within 24 hours. After about a week's time the issue recurred and then the same procedure was followed. The same issue came back for the third time and then the vehicle was called again to the service centre, kept for 3 days where I was being told that they were taking some pictures to get some mechanical parts from somewhere else as it was not available with them. They took 3 complete days, gave the vehicle back to me and told me to drive it as the issue was not with the engine itself and that there is no problem if I continue driving it. Then after driving it for about 2-3 days another message displayed on screen "AdBlue System Malfunction - Service Required". Thereafter the vehicle was sent again to the Moti Nagar service centre on 24th May 2022 and till date they do not have the part and not even have any reply as to when will that part come and when will I get the vehicle back. I personally gave a visit to the service centre on Monday the 30th of May 2022 where I was being promised to at least convey to me in a day or 2 that when will the issue get resolved but till date they do not even know when the part will be available.

            I purchased the car to take the pleasure of driving and not to keep it in the service centre for such long periods in such short intervals.

            It is therefore requested of a senior official to kindly intervene in the matter and take forward the issue so that I am able to have the pleasure of driving my Endeavour again.

            Hope to get an early resolution to this.

              I gave my car Ecosport Petrol AT (reference ID number is [protected]) at Shree Pawan Ford, Noida service center on 12th May, so already has been 16 days
              Everytime, the response i get from the service center is that its pending at ford for something (diagnosis, parts etc), even for something simple like rubbing ( they say will take 2 days )
              It has become very frustrating, looking forward for your support on this

                I bought Ford-Ecosport TitaniumS 2021 model at Feb 18, 2021 from Chennai Ford - Arumbakkam(VIN:MAJAXXMRKAMJ85995)

                Initially the pickup and mileage of my vehicle was good, but after doing the catalytic converter recall (Feb 2022), the vehicle has shown poor mileage and pickup.

                I also got my second service after the recall in April 2022, but I was informed that everything is looking good

                We had a trip to Yercaud in early May 2022. But the vehicle got stopped in the foothills and could not climb the hill. We had to travel in my friend's vehicle. I had to park the car in the foothills and made the complaint on that day to Chennai Ford Service center (Mr. Kumar).

                Today I visited Chennai Ford to check and resolve the issue. But I was informed that my clutch pad is damaged and needs a replacement.

                This is my third car and my earlier cars never had this kind of issue.

                I need a reason why the clutch pad has got damaged in this short timeline and I never expected this behavior in Ford. I am expecting the replacement of the clutch pad to be covered under warranty because of other technical issues. .

                      Ford Ecosport clutch issues

                      The car broke down in October 2021 due to clutch failure. The car had driven for 5 years and clocked a total of around 30, 000 KM. Even this was too early compared to other car models which run for a lakh km without any issues with the clutch. Anyways we got the entire clutch assembly replaced with a costing in excess of Rs. 21, 000/- and took the delivery of the vehicle.                       Dear Sir/ Madam,
                      I own a Ford Figo since JUN'2021.

                      I previously have used Cars of other Makes such as Maruti-Suzuki, Hyundai.

                      I also travel in other make Cars owned by Colleagues etc.

                      I wish to attract your attention to 2 problems with the Ford Cars:
                      Firstly, Dust n Dirt enters all the 5 doors of the Car which i have not observed in other Make cars.

                      Secondly, the Radiator fan of the Car is much more Noisier than other Make cars.

                        My car (MH43BK8156) was banged by a reckless driver and had suffered damage. For repairs under insurance claim the car was taken to the Bhavna ford garage in Turbhe Navi Mumbai on 5th April 2022. The dickey was dented and the spare wheel cover was damaged completely.I was told that the dent would be repaired and the area repainted. Also the wheel cover would be changed.Total billed repair charges were 26282/- of which 14369/- were covered by the insurance company I paid 11914/-.
                        In Spite of paying so much the body shop workshop and the repairs were below acceptable standards. 1. During delivery I found that when the painting of the dickey was undertaken the car was not covered properly and as a result the solvents used had dispersed on the top sides of the car thereby damaging the original paint and reducing the lustre of the paint.2. The rear screen was also smeared with solvents as a result the glass lost it shine.3. The left tail light was not aligned properly and it had a big play. It was found that the packing of the tail light was damaged. When I asked for the packing to be fixed I was told the complete tail light will have to be changed. The body shop manager and the insurance advisor refused to listen to my concern.4. The dickey was not aligned properly.5. The new spare wheel cover does not compare well with the original I had fixed on my vehicle in 2018.
                        So much for quality repairs at Ford work shops.Really substandard workmanship and very low standards of excellence and poorly trained staff.Moreover the service personnel are employed to prove the customer wrong.

                          My car was banged by a reckless driver and had suffered damage. For repairs under insurance claim the car was taken to the ford garage in Turbhe Navi Mumbai on 5th April 2022. The fuel tank was full as indicated on the display and also recorded by the person who took the inventory.
                          During delivery of vehicle on 13th April, I found the fuel tank to be half empty.
                          The workshop personnel had pilfered petrol from the vehicle.
                          This was bought to the notice of the body shop in-charge Mr. Devendra Singh. Inspite of a visible piferage on the part of the ford garage personnel
                          they tried to sweep the issue under the carpet.
                          After I was not convinced with their reasons they transferred a petty sum of 1500/- to my account as compensation.
                          This was not sufficient compensation for the theft. They should have transferred atleast 5000/- into my account with a written apology.
                          Extremely pained at the unethical standards of Ford workshop and its management and personnel.
                          Ford workshops cannot be trusted.
