Ford India — Not pulling in 3rd gear

I have new figo titanium petrol. The engine is not able to pull in 3rd gear with a/c in an average indian road while other cars in this segment does. I complained in the service centre when i went for first service. They told that they adjusted. But still it's not upto the mark. Whenever i want to overtake or drive through a sloppy area, the car forces me to shift to 2nd gear. Which makes a sudden jerk and it's very annoying. What should i do now!?
