Hi

I am Nagesh Prabhu. Was working for Fortis Hospitals, which was formerly known as Wockhardt Hospitals, Nagarbhavi, Bangalore. I had resigned my job in the month of July'2010. Its been almost 8 months by now. I havent received my Provident Fund. I had submitted the filled PF withdrawal forms twice along with a blank cancelled checks. Both the times, the irresponsibles HRs of Fortis Nagarbhavi has misplaced my forms and whenever I call them ,they keep on giving me the dates saying next week and all. I dont know what to do. I wanted my hard earned money back. Kindly help me in this.
I was interacting with Mr.MuraliKrishna and then Mr.Giridhar. Everytime I call them, they fool me giving some dates. Mr.Giridhar also have said Mr.Sathish is incharge of the same, who sits in Corporate office.
Kindly look into this matter and kindly do the needful at the earliest.

My employee code was : 101475
My PF No is : KN/46879/1475

    Negligence of Doctors

    Address: SAS Nagar, Punjab

    Horrendous experience at Fortis, Mohali

Wig and Dr. A.S. Bawa. She was admitted on 4/2/11 in Fortis Hospital, Mohali. At the time of admission, the counsellor ( Ms. Zubi) had in consultation with Dr. J.D. Hi,
My friend cousin had been admitted to Fortis Hospitals - Cunningham Road for a heart surgery. The heart operation failed and the patient died. The hospital said that we had given every possible treatment and billed an amount of Rs.12 Lakhs/- for the treatment. When the relatives of the patient went to collect the body, they couldn't even bend the arm, it was so difficult. When they asked about it to the doctors they said we had given her treatment and so it is like this. The relatives got suspicious and called there known doctor from elsewhere and he declared that the patient was dead long before. So, the relatives threatened to the hospital doctors that they will bring Media and you need to give full report regarding the death.
The hospital doctors got frightened about the Media thing and returned back Rs. 13 Lakhs.

Beware of "Fortis Hospitals - Cunningham Road" people, they are milking money for the cost of the patient.

    Regards

      dear sir
i would like to bring to your notice following

my daughter mrs preeti comar w/o prashant comar stays in shimla . she got a severe headache and vomiiting and was admitted to indus hospital shimla. she was in hospital from 29 dec 10 to 02 jan 2011. her condition did not improve and we shifted her to fortis hospital chandigarh ( mohali).
in indus hospital they diagonised her for acute migraine and gastritis.

in fortis she was admitted under registration nbr uhid 00284689 and ipid nbr ip00106856.
she was admitted on 02jan2011 and was discharged on 05jan2011.
she was treated under dr Anupam Jindal and he diagnosed her for VASCULAR HEADACHE and anxiety/depression and she was consulted on the instance of dr jindal with psychiatrist dr ambrish singal of fortis.

as her headache was not getting controlled under dr jindal and we approached one dr in delhi and on phone he suggested to do CSF test but dr jindal refused to do and he was saying we have done CT Angio brain and there is no need for CSF test inspite of our repeated request.
she was discharged by fortis on 05jan 2011 . we brought her to chandigarh relatives house and for 2 days she was complaining for headache and we approached dr jindal again in his chamber and he told she is under psychiatrist medicines and i gurantee there is no pain to patient. he also told we can take her anywhere and she is ok. but she was not able to stand and eat properly.
we took her to gurgaon by car and kept her for 2 days in relatives house but her condition deteriorated
and on 09 jan she fainted and we immediately to artemis health institute gurgaon.

she was treated by dr praveen gupta and he did CSF test immediatly and reached to the conclusion that she is having TB Meningitis. he started immediately appropriate treatment and my daughter is very well now and is discharged on 19jan 2011. i really thank and appreciate the efforts of dr praveen gupta who saved her life.

but DR ANUPAM JINDAL of fortis was too bad and treated her in wrong way and action should be taken against him.

I agree to her complaint ... Fortis doctors are negligent ...they take their patient as ATM machines...
I agree with your complaint - My Mother had severe gum bleeding at 12.30 am, we reached fortis at 1 am, the emergency doctor took the blood pressure and did blood tests. and gave one injection till 6 am bleeding didn't stop and they discharged saying we don't have a dentist and on Sunday morning dentist doesn't come in fortis. We had ECHS card so money was not a concern, and if money was not the concern why they didn't call the dentist and doctors present in the emergency did not know how to stop bleeding and they said this is normal.
So I should go to some private dentist, at 6 am I went to a competent Dr Dugal, she stopped the bleeding in 1 hour she was in shock to see that patient was bleeding since 12.30 am
Doctors are so so incompetent that they didn't even call a dentist in 5 hours, and released the patient while the patient was still bleeding. One junior doctor comes to attend and rest of the doctors are sitting in the doctor's room light closed and laughing. Just one remark after 5 hours we don't have a dentist and dentist cannot come on sunday. My mother bleeds for 5 hours heavily, and a competent dentist resolved that in 1 hour with total satisfaction. Hight of incompetency, I have seen again and again that doctors don't even care you live or die. Are these doctors human?
The same bleeding caused no reaction in doctors of fortis for 5 hours and same bleeding for on dentist was such a serious matter that she was in shock and took the things so seriously.

Service is patahtic in Fortis noida. I got my son from the same hospital 4 years back. That time , It was better managed. Now it's worse. My mother got operated in it yesterday. Insuarnce comapny had paid the entire amount in advance. Still, they ask for Rs 5000 security deposit. That too 24 hours before operation. Despite paying it, no bed available on time. Doctor pushed the operation on his risk. Within 2 hours they asked to release the bed. It's like trading of beds. When i got her relived, they did not relieve her as there was delay from insurance company side for 1 hour ( 1000 Rs) I cried as You have 5000 rs as advance. Why don't release the patiant ?

It was really headache especially when a person is in operation mode.

            Dear Sir/Madam
I wish to complain about your fortis healthcare world branch in circular road amritsar. The people selling medicines are not qualified pharmacists. I was once sold expired medicines for which the owner apologized so i let it go. Now the sample collection of the same centre is very very poorly managed. the technician is unqualified. No hygeine i;e disinfecting of hands was done. This is shocking that a reputed company such as yours would give a franchise without quality control. Today, I had even a worse experience when I was told lies that the test can not be done in amritsar. They are not even aware of tests that are done in fortis amritsar. they took two samples of lipid profile and TSH and promised that the tests would be done in Fortis hospital Amritsar. Apparently, one was sent to Gurgaon which takes three days for the report. I should have been truthfully informed that the test can not be done locally. I would have gone to another lab or to the hospital itself. The technician claimed that the hospital also does not have the testing facility so it was sent to gurgaon. This is nonsense. I feel if you have such people representing your company it will ruin your reputation. I am going file a case on the local branch if no action is taken by you. For an average uneducated person can be taken for a ride in such a case. I am extremely disappointed and hope your management will take necessary action to restore my faith

              Dear Sir/Mam,

I shalini Tripathi, Ex employee of Fortis Health Care Ltd (Emp Id- FESL 264) would like to bring in your kind notice that i worked with this organization for 7 months (04 Jan 2010 - 13 Aug 2010) & resigned from my services due to some urgency.
For my settlement when i contacted to HR, they said there is no due from the company end, however i have to pay an amount of Rs11,700 to company itself. I am shocked with the behavior of company people who are asking me to pay rather than finalized of my dues.
I don't know by which method they have calculated all these.
Further, they never handed over me the confirmation letter which is supposed to be given after six months of joining & Just because of this they are not approving my paid leaves which I took for 8 days & now they are asking me to pay for the same. Also for they are saying once the amount (Rs 11,700) is paid only then the PF amount can be released.
I have no issue with the rules & regulations of company & I am ready to pay the amount if there is something from my end but i want everything to be transparent.
I would request you kindly look in to the matter.

              Thanks

                Fortis Hospital,
                Mulund (w).
                Respected Sir,
                .

My self Mrs. Sheetal S. Manek would like to inform the management about unfair things happened with us n take appropriate action to maintain the good name of this Hospital.

I would like to summarise everything in detail n i really expect good response from ur side.

My Husband Mr. Sanat D. Manek, had GALL BLADDER STONE, n we had come to take opinion of Dr. DHIREN PIPALIA, He suggested us to meet Dr. MOHAN KOPPIKER for surgery,
so we immediately met Dr.M. KOPPIKER and he suggested us for surgery. We agreed n my husband was admitted on 7th of june 2010, under the treatment of Dr. MOHAN KOPPIKER.
N here the First Problem Started, We are pure vegetarian, n the food served on 7th june for dinner was non veg. Staff members appolozised n said sorry. ok No problem cause this was not a
major problem but it did not stopped here.

Next day i.e. 8th june 2010 in the morning was the surgery, but before surgery Dr. Mohan Koppiker N Assist. Dr. Naushaad, told us that my husbands HCV blood report was positive. so he
suggested that it would be better i[censored] again meet Dr. Dhiren Pipalia n i will talk to him about this. but at present there is no problem in doing the Surgery. So he did the Surgery it was done
very very perfectly n nicely, We are really very very happy with the Dr.M. Koppiker, wonderful job he had done, along with the Gall bladder stone Surygery i.e. LAPROSCOPIC CHOLECYSTECTOMY,
Dr. M. Koppiker also got scare tissues of LIVER so that it would be easy for us to do the Liver Biopsy, so we were very happy with the Dr.M. Koppiker, such nice gentle man. So atlast surgery was
successfully done. Now in the evening Dr. Dhiren Pipalia came to see my Husband. Mr. Sanat coz Dr. M.Koppiker had talked to Dr. D. Pipalia about the HCV Positive test. So Dr.D.Pipali suggested
us to do sum tests which was going to charge us approx Rs.15000/- we agreed n said yes to do the tests that were 1. HCV RNA QUANTITATIVE and 2. HCV GENOTYPE along with the
                LIVER BIOPSY.
DR. M.Koppiker came to see my Husband, he found everything normal n gave us discharge and even that time he confirmed about Dr. D.Pipalia's tests, we said yes that we are going for
the two tests mentioned above. and even blood sample was collected initially for all basic tests before the surgery, so we thought that this two test will also be performed from that blood samples
Ok n Dr. Priya was assissting Dr. M. Koppiker that day, even i confirmed with her before discharge that this two tests has to done n she said yes u have cum next week n collect the reports of these
all tests. Suddenly before discharge we were said that these two tests were not necessary to be done, we were shocked, so confirmed Dr. Priya again n again she said yes, after asking for again
again Dr. Priya said ok i will confirm with Dr. D.Pipalia n tell u so she called Dr. D.Pipalia n said yes, no need to be done these two tests, so she cancelled with the pen.
Ok now we were discharged. We were called for follow up by Dr. M.Koppiker on 14th June. That time even he asked us to meet Dr. D. Pipalia for further investigation of Liver Biopsy Reports, that time
even Dr, Koppiker was surprised that why these 2 tests were cancelled.

So we took an appointment n were called for follow up 17th June 2010. for Dr, D.Pipalia
He asked us for all the reports, we were shocked , we asked which reports Dr.? U had told only for LIVER BIOPSY n other two reposrts i.e.1. and 2. even that time Dr.D.Pipalia was shocked, He said
I had told to do this reports why not done ? He said i had never told Dr. Priya to cancel this reports n she had not confirmed with it, that time we were very unhappy with the thing happend with us.
So we contacted Dr. Nisha from management. we told her the whole matter," that today we are here to Meet Dr. D.Pipalia from last 5 hrs, waiting, n paid the fees also but what's the use, without
reports what will Doctor suggest us."
Dr.D.Pipalia even talked Dr.Nisha that i have not said no to Dr.Priya, So she immediately called Dr. Priya, now the turning pt. Dr. Priya is clearly saying no that i have not cancelled this two tests,at the
time of discharge Asst.Dr. Tejashree was there so she is responsible,n not me............. so this matter was joke for all of them, then we had to raise our voice but no use,. than Dr. Nisha said I will

check were the problem was n u call me again after two days , so we said ok. Than after two days v again called Dr. Nisha , She said that problem was of Mediclaim co. Our Mediclaim Co. had paid
such a huge amount of surgery , i.e. Rs. 71,157/- So, we dont at all thing that Mediclaim Co. wud refuse for these two tests. And even if the Mediclaim Co. had refused to pay for it, Than It is a
RESPOSIBILITY of the Hospital Doctors to tell us clearly the matter before cancelling the tests, We would have definately paid for the same. Because eof this behavioural pattern My Husband has to
suffer, already he had gone through a Major Surgery.

We expect the Management to take proper action against the nonsense reason given to us.
                Please reply soon.

                Thank You.

                Yours Sincerely
                Mrs. Sheetal S. Manek.

This is to warn people that sometimes it is really a big mistake to just go by name of people. It should be remembered that when Doctors go big..they leave the patients to fight with help of small doctors, less in experience and not even accountable.
Same happened with my father. After giving chemo without taking into care of his falling blood count missing on the helper drugs, second chemo was given within a week and then the doctor when questioned said to take the chemo or leave, After that small mistake to agree my father is now fighting with sever blood loss and anaemia. The strange thing about the whole sequesnce is Dr. Bedi was not even in the picture, after prescribing the Chemo plan. All decisions and hera pheri was done by the consulatant under him. I can't even say if he even knows or will acknowledge the mistake. Then it was a blame game and fight but finally my parents sick of the treatment of the staff to emotionally torture them to take discharge decided to leave. Now he is so scared to go for any treatment while his blood is falling down at home....So be aware,,,,it is not Dr. Bedi's expertise you are getting, it is just a facade to lure people.

This is Complaint regarding Fortis Healthcare Ltd. Attracted towards their huge propoganda for thier so called best services i approached to the Fortis Hospital-Amritsar for my Checkup. After Regestration for Rs.250/- i was reffered to Dr.Deepak Kapila for my checkup. Getting to his OPD room i found he was not there on his seat and asked Assistants sitting outside there. She asked me to wait as Doctor was on Round in Cath Lab.I asked her if he is going to take more time then i can visit him another day, she talked to Doctor on phone, and Doctor asked her to send me in Cath Lab on 1st Floor. After reaching there the Peon stopped me outside the lab insisitng that i cannot enter, but i said Docotr himself has called me up, He said i will talk to Docotor and asked me to wait outside the Room. After siiting there for 45 min i again approchaed the same person,he again asked me to wait as Docotr is taking Tea, again after waiting for another 15 min i insited him to let me go inside but he didnot let me enter. After 5 min Doctor Came with a loud Voice "WHY ARE YOU CREATING A MESS, I AM ON OFF TODAY", i said if you are on off why are they giving your appointements on registration counter,he replied"THATS NOT MY DUTY GO AND ASK THEM", I said OK then why did u call me in CATH LAB,again he replies "I WONT CHECK UP YOU HERE , GO TO OPD, I AM ON OFF TODAY" He talked to me in such a nonsense language.I got back to regestation counter and asked them to refund my money and also asked them "If Doctor is on OFF then why did they issue me a regestration and appointment with that person. Why are they wasting time of Patients. And Above all Is this a behaviour of One doctor ??? Shame on Your Doctors and Shame on you who appoint such persons in such institutions.

                    Dear Friend

It is all the same, Doctors are rude and it is just perception that they are noble .
If Doctor is on Off, then what is he doing in cathlab .He or hospital authorities is purely at fault, not smartly dressed reception clerk .

These Private hospital doctors are of no service to community .They are just Goondas in apron . A patient whom they can be milked more is attended .Other are left or referred to other hospitals .

You can file a case and claim compensation .

                    Regards
tit for tat is the best policy for all these hospitals.
if doctor is rude with you, overpower him & take off his clothes .
start kicking that doctor till he feels sorry for his rude behaviour.

take his clothes along with you in lieu of fees u paid at reception for doctor consultation.

these doctors need only & only this type of treatments.
when doctors will flee from such hospitals, hospitals will become empty of the reqd doctors & their so called hospital business will come to zero.

                        Sir,
One of my female cousin is working as a nursing staff in FORTIS HOSPITAL, S-block, greater kailash part-2, near to DON BOSCO SCHOOL, New delhi. In that hospital all the staffs are south indian and there only female nursing staffs, because of this the administratives and controllers are forcing the female staffs to do over time work with less number of staffs for many patients. And they are not giving authorised leave also. And they are not willing to give extra salary for overtime and oncall duty Nobody is willing to ask or question this because they fearing about their certificate, it is keeping in that hospital as a contract(1 year bond) security and worrying about future issues. Its not a few person problem, All staffs are victim for this. For this were they have to complaint for their rights? It may be a female illegal..

                          Hi Everybody,

I totally concur with Tarun as I have experienced almost the same thing.
My wife and I met an accident in which our Bolero collided with a roadways bus head on. Both o[censored]s got injured and lost consciousness. By grace of god, I escaped with 9 stiches at my forehead and my wife recieved 5 stiches.

We got discharged from the hospital in which police has admitted us after 2 days. Everything was fine but for 1 problem. My wife was unable to open her mouth fully because of possibly a muscles spasm.

We were told that in fortis hospital Noida, this problem can be resolved. After 3-4 days I took appointment in the dental department for the same and booked our time for 4:30PM. We waited uptill 5:30 PM then our chance to meet the doctor came. She heard our story and told us to take some X-ray.we went to pay Rs 650 for the X-ray.Then 1 attendant came to us and told me that he would accompany my wife to radiology room as my 8 months old son was getting cranky. We were absolutely flattered and were very appreciative. After arround 20 mins or so my wife came alone and said that the X-ray machine was not working. I enquired with that attendant. He told me that machine is getting fixed. We waited again for 15 min and then our saviour (attendant) came and told us to proceed for X-ray. This time X-ray was done and was told that we will get the report next day.

I went to collect the report after fixing the appointment and on oral assurance from our saviour that report is ready. The X-ray report was not there and on further enquiry I found that the machine was not fixed that day. Now I erupted then and there. Some other attendant pacified me and told me to bring my wife to hospital and get the report on the same day. As the condition of my wife was worsening, I did exactly that.

After an hour I had a report in my hand and with that we went to meet the doctor. the lady saw the X-ray and told us that wisdom tooth is horizontal so she would do an operation and will remove it.We were shocked to hear that. my wife tried to reason with her that this is due to accident and because of horizontal teeth but that lady was adament. I share this thing with one of my friend which was in last year of BDS. She was agast and told me to refer her to some other place. Which we did.

I visited AIIMS next day. no matter I have to stand on a long queue for 1.5 hrs. I find the trainee doctors there was way way more informed and intelligent than so called expert doctors of fortis. They asked us to take X-ray would would cost me 30 bucks and with no plate. the X-ray was in a CD. The doctor heard us patiently and told me that it is a matter of muscle spasm. He showed us the skrew for opening the mouth.

Just 2 visits more to the AIIMS (this time no more queue ) my wife got cured.

I belong to that generation who was told that everything sarkaari was bad, even I have forsake a job in Delhi metro for IT job in an MNC but frankly speaking I found it extremely wrong now. I found that the doctors in fortis noida are bad but the attendants are very active and intelligent. So you are sucked into believing fortis noida as a good hospital. But a hospital is as good as its doctors and they are BAD.

Fortis Noida has the most pathetic service I've ever found. If you have slightest love for you life and that of your loved one please don't visit them. My wife met with an accident yesterday and I'm shocked the way they treat their patient.

                            Hello,
I've been visitin fortis la femme in delhi from last month. I am going through a treatment in infertility from one of your gynae. I've noticed a very disappointing attitute of this doc. which raises questions on her authenticity of treatment further raising a question on Fortis authenticity. I am being charged a doctor fee(which is a high amount in itself) even if i am visting the doctor twice a week, whether it is only to show the reports or for consultancy. and i am being told by the doctor that its the hospital authorities who troubles her afterwards if we dont pay each time we go there. And if you can understand that i am visiting her almost 10-15 days in a month.
This kind of attitute puts the patient in more stress which is a strict 'No No' if you are trying to concieve, so we are being treated the other way round. And also if I concieve i cannot trust this doctor for the further treatment she will prescribe, will be for the normal delivery or operation.
I really hope that you will check these kind of attitudes of the doctors appointed with you. Also hope that you will get back soon.

This complaint is about the careless attitude of the doctors and nurses at Fortis Hospital, NOIDA. On Mar 19, 2009, I lost my father due to a cardiac arrest.

On Mar 11, 2009, my father was admitted to Fortis hospital, NOIDA as he was not feeling well. As soon as we rushed him to hospital, the doctors attended to him. After a few minutes we were asked to make an advance payment after which they planned to shift him to ICU. The billing staff took almost 15-20 minutes to fill out the forms and process the payment. As soon I completed the formalities and went back to my father I saw that he was unconscious. The doctor on duty attended to him and told us that he had a respiratory arrest. He was then shifted to the ICU. During the next couple of hours we were clueless as to what was happening as nobody bothered to inform us. We were told that we will be called as soon as the doctors have attended to him. Almost 2 hours later we were told that they will keep him in ICU and they have sent the blood samples to determine if there was any infection in the lungs which caused the respiratory arrest. We were informed that we will get any reports that we need so that we can get a second opinion from any other place that we want.

However, we really had to run around to get a copy of the report. Each day doctors kept saying a different thing about his condition and we were totally lost as to what was happening.

It also seems that taking payments from the patients was of more importance that treating the patient. We were making payments daily as soon as we reached the hospital in the morning. However, we would still keep getting calls in the morning telling us about the payment that was due for the day. When I told them that you do not need to remind me as I am making the payments on my own, I was told that this is the protocol and they need to follow it.

On their part the hospital was very prompt, when it came to asking for payments. But when I required anything like reports or a break-up of the charges, I was made to run around.

There seemed to be discrepancies in the charges also. When I got a detailed break-up of the charges after 3 days, I noticed that there were entries for gloves almost 100-200 gloves being used each day. When I questioned them, I was told different things - that this is not the final bill, or it might has been an error. Then I was made to run around to diffrent people from the Patient Welfare Officer to the nursing supervisor and attendant. In the end, I was told rudely, that they only charge for things that they use. Surprisingly, no gloves were charged for after that date. Gloves were one thing that I could notice because of the high number. I can't even comment on the medicines and other things things that they billed for.

On Mar 18, 2009, my father was shifted out of the ICU. Before that he was conscious and talking to us. His condition seemed to worsen and he was unconscious once he was shifted out of the ICU. We kept on asking the nursing staff and the doctors and they said it was normal as the CO2 level was high. Nobody seemed to bother. Later in the evening he had a cardiac arrest and had to be shifted to the ICU again. But maybe it was too late. He passed away the next morning.

A comment about the nursing staff too. As we were allowed to visit my father in the ICU only twice in a day, we called up at night and early in the morning to inquire about his health. However, the kind of answers that we received were not worthy of the noble profession of nursing. At times we were rudely told that you will be visiting him in the morning so you can check his condition then. The least that they can do is to be courteous and polite to people who are already going though a lot of mental agony.

Fortis' vision is "creating a world-class integrated healthcare delivery system in India, entailing the finest medical skills combined with compassionate patient care". However, this does not reflect anywhere in the kind of service that they provide.

Nothing I do or say can bring him back. The least I can do through this forum is to make other people aware about the kind of service that is provided at Fortis, NOIDA. I do hope and pray that nobody else goes through this kind of experience.

                              Regards,
                              Amit

I lost my brother suffering from CML (Blood Cancer) last month only due to the negligence of Oncologist Dr. Amit Agarwal, Fortis, Noida. He kept on assuring us that my brother will be alright. Only that he had to take medicines every day for almost 6-7 years and regular check ups. Besides, he didn't say anything about precautions or rest etc. Finally his condition deteriorated but the doctor didn't care a bit to change his medicine or treatment. May be he didn't have any clue or knowledge of the disease per se. So these kind of doctors who don't have proper knowledge of the diseases and treatments are recruited by Fortis, Noida. So, please beware and check the credentials of the doctors treating your patient if they are admitted to Fortis, Noida. I don't know whether they treat any patient properly.
Fortis Vasant Kunj is also worst .My Mother was there for 12 days and they did all kinds of test they could do including PET CT and made a huge bill of endless medicnes and in end they said could be cancer . They again took a biosphy and there report came they were againnot sure what to do .

Dr Like Geeta Gupta and Maunder Gupta and their Team Dr Sanjay etc have a very bad attititude .. not giving proper guidance what to do but insteat they want us to get treatment done ASAP .. Treatment of what and what is procedure no one is telling us .

Oonly promt services is "Please pay the Billl "
I also came across very worst experience with FORTIS ESCORTS, Faridbad.
They are all simply money making people. pls don't prefer this hospital. Expecially don't consult Dr. S.K.Kapoor.

I have had a very bad experience with Fortis Jaipur. The doctors are liars over there.I lost my father because of Fortis. They hide all the facts from you. They discharged my father after Coronary By pass surgery done by Dr. Ajeet Bana saying that he is fine and just needs to take his medications on time.He had some respiratory complications after the surgery. But we were told that he is going to be fine and there was nothing to worry about and his lumgs and heart are completely normal. They kept on moving my father back and forth from ICU.So he was on ventilator and oxygen most of the time when he was in hospital.

I am sure my father got a lung infection after or during the surgery which they could not treat. They never accepted this fact. And i lost my father two days after discharge .And they said the reason was aspiration.

They are liars. And they are only there for money not for medical services.I saw on the reports in my fathers room that he had a cardigenic shock. These guys never told us about it.They are liars. But the bottom line is that i lost my father.I can never get him back.No one should go to fortis as you cannot trust them with your lives and your loved ones lives.
I agree. I had a similar experience with Fortis Noida. I admitted my sister who was having vomitting and feeking un-easiness. Within minutes of admission she felt unconcious and went into comma. We were not told anything about what caused this. WIthin an hour she had respiratory arrest. They took around 4 hours to do the CT and around 8 hours to do the MRI, only to say that she had a severe brain haemorraghe and that the situation is critical. THe condition worsend every day and she eventually gave up after 4 days. They are very punctual when it comes to asking for payment, when you go to them with queries they won't give a definitive answer. I am now chasing them through e-mail to answer my queries, but no-one cares. Is anyone aware of how this can be escalated within Fortis. Does anyone has a e-mail of a senior authority in Fortis. Please mail me on harsh.[protected]@gmail.com

My inlaws faced really a very bad experience yesterday ..they visited a General physician yesterday ...she was unko so hurry n talked with them in such a way as if she is looking for free.My inlaws took a proper appointment n hence it was already paid.she told them that she have to rush to some conference and also three patients are waiting already outside ..n so they should not stay long.what type of attitude is this?? Is this the way you are supposed to treat the patient? My mother in law was having a list of symptoms n problems thay she faces every day.and bcos she may forget some of them, so she innocently listed all her problems on a piece of paper. AS soon as she saw the paper she asked in a very rude n harrasing way that...oh my God you hav so many problems ..she was very rude.she wanted to give my mother-in-law. Some injection. To which my Jim in law is allergic. And when she refused doctor asked her that why did she came to her for any treatment ..if she don't want any...that was so insensible .how can anyone take any allergic medicine and that to knowingly?? She is not a Doctor ...she needs treatment ...Get well soon...doc...

Shocking reviews indeed. Very sorry to know the horrible experiences you all have had to go through. I don't feel able to trust these hospitals anymore. The main underlying problem is a weak and corrupt regulatory body called IMC. There is an urgent need in India for strict and sincere regulations of medical practice and medical education.

My father was rushed to Fortis Mohali in emergency as asked by the oncologist Rajiv Bedi due to a ruptured vein in the eye. But to our dismay, nobody bothered to look at him in the first three precious hours. On voicing out to the supervisor, a little activity did take place.Mr. Oncologist didn't even bother to come for a checkup. The untrained doctors and nurses did more harm than good by pushing food pipe and making his nose bled. That caused lung infection. His urine bag was not changed for two days.he had bed sores because none of the doctors or nurses even think of changing his position.CT scan and blood reports in emergency also took two days.As it is he had low platelet count count, no food intake for two days, still was given enemas and physiotherapy for lungs. Doctors kept on forcing us to put him on ventilator, when he was breathing normally. In the evening they made a new report of him contracting dengue, which was quite shocking. When his pulse count was low Dr. Thind and Dr. Neeraj on duty didnot even bother to get up from their seats. In the end he couldn't fight the battle and I lost my father.
Yeah they did manage to make 2.5 lakhs out o[censored]s.

What kind of healing compassion is this? A basic healthcare is a human right and should be available to all the citizens. Healthcare that runs on the motto of "shareholder's profit" can never provide healing compassion.
