I, Nitin Chobisa, had rented a TV and Sofa from Furlenco, and I had scheduled the return on 28 March 2025. The pickup was confirmed by Furlenco for 2 April 2025.
I had informed them well in advance that I was relocating to another city, and it was important that the items be picked up on the agreed date. However, Furlenco unilaterally rescheduled the pickup to 7 April 2025, stating "vehicle breakdown" as the reason.
On 7 April, their team further refused to pick up the items claiming they did not have the box for the TV, which is their internal logistic failure. This has caused me severe inconvenience, emotional stress, and additional logistical burden, especially during relocation.
Despite repeated follow-ups, they have failed to:
Pickup the items on the agreed dates
Provide any resolution or support
Offer compensation or apology
Reliefs Sought:
Immediate and hassle-free pickup of the rented items
Compensation of ₹10, 000 for mental harassment, wasted time, and inconvenience
Written apology for deficiency in service
I request the Consumer Forum to kindly take appropriate action against Furlenco for their unprofessional and negligent behavior.
