Furlenco — Refrigerator and Washing Machine

I wanted to rented a Refrigereter and a Washing machine. So on 22nd July, i paid total rs 1802/-(rs 1590/- for the appliances and rs 212/- for their Furlenco Care Service.

1. Refrigerator Issues:

During delivery, the refrigerator was mishandled and it was fallen by the delivery men, causing visible damage to the outer body. I raised the complaint about it on 26th July. However there was no action being taken.

Later i found The fridge door is loose and not closing properly, which allows moisture to enter and results in water leakage, especially after power outages. The leaked water gets outside the fridge and making situation dangerous. There is chance of short circuit or someone slip to fall
For this issue.
Also due to the water leaking issue, all my food items have got spoiled. and most importantly every time water gets leaked, the water fall on floor and i have to waste my precious time to dry it.
About this issue i first raised the complaint on 29th July, but till today (17th August'25) there is no technician is visited and the issue is still pending.

2. Washing Machine Issues:

There is a defect in the inlet valve, causing continuous water leakage even after the wash cycle ends.

I raised a complaint, and a technician came next week and confirmed that the part needs replacement. and he will get the same in 4-5 days. But for next 14 days, no one came. Later when i continually complained, a technician came and changed the valve. In between, i forced to pay for laundry service more than the rental of the washing machine as i urgently needed clothes to be washed.

All in all i am very dissatisfied with Furlenco electrical appliances and their service. Whenever you call them, they will take 48 hours, 72 hours and the chain goes long. The servicemen call you on weekdays because they rest on weekends so that you have to go through stress of adjusting the time in your working hours.

I think Furlenco was pioneer in the rental items segment and hence they created a very strong brand but behind the brand name, their service levels have gone down drastically.

In short, never rent electronic appliances from Furlenco
