[Resolved]  Future Choice Club — Refund for Membership Cancelation

This is my worst experience with a Future Choice Club (don't confuse it with Future Group). The sweetness and the gesture the sales team will show while selling their membership, you will be bound to fall into their trap, and once your card is swipe, they will give you an agreement to sign stating that this is the written commitment of what we discussed showing the amount paid. They will not let you read the other conditions saying that you can read it later.
Following is the description of the incident that I have gone through with "FUTURE CHOICE HOLIDAYS AND HOSPITALITY PRIVATE LIMITED registered address is CABIN NO.7, D-3 LGF KALKAJI NEW DELHI South Delhi DL 110019, Doing business as Future Choice Club with office G-14, 2nd Floor, Sector-3, Gautam Buddh Nagar, Noida-201301

I have filled one coupon at IRIS mall, sector 86, Gurgaon on January 09th, 2021, where the person told me that 'Future Group' has rented Holiday sector 90 Gurgaon for a year. They are providing complimentary dinner, and they will provide you 2 nights/3 days stay at their new hotels if your names come in lucky draw.
On the next day (January 10th, 2021), I received a call from a girl informing me that I won the lucky draw for a free vacation along with dinner in the Holiday Inn. I was not willing to go as I don't trust these offers, so I denied them. But she convinced me that I have to visit the Holiday Inn hotel with my wife to collect the freebies. I finally said okay, I would come. They sent me a text message from the mobile number – [protected]

Since the venue was nearby only, I agreed, I counter-questioned whether there are any terms and conditions to accept the offer they denied.

I finally reached Holiday Inn (Me, my wife, my daughter (3 years old), and my son (7 years old), around 8:30 pm, as I was advised to reach there at 8:30 pm instead of 8:00 pm because of some delay from there end, I was then asked to attend a presentation about company's promotion to get the free vouchers. Few more couples were sitting there; thus, I also agreed to the presentation out of curiosity. A well-dressed person came to me and started introducing himself as "Praveen" Aka Akash and group of others, His manger was Ankita. He then asked that you please introduce yourself to be comfortable with each other for the next half an hour. Some questionnaire was also shared with me to fill on what Credit card do I hold, what all places I have visited in the last couple of years etc. He then asked you to have some questions in your mind about why any company is providing any free vouchers, which was right. He then said it's for your time for the promotion of our company's future choice club. He then asked me about my last vacation and said that he would offer some plan only if it is relevant to you, else you will be provided the voucher without spending further time. He then said that offer would be valid for today only. He then said this is unlike other membership plans where they sell lifetime plans for 5-10 lakhs rupees.
I started losing interest and said that I am not interested in buying any plan. He then convinced me that he is selling any plan to me and started showing some five-star properties (hotels). He then said, what if this hotel will be available to you at a 2-star hotel price etc. I said yes, it would be a great deal. He then said we have a 10 year membership plan for INR 1, 80 000 lakhs. I straight away denied the offer since I cannot afford to pay it. Akash then called his manager “Ankita” and the they started bargaining with the price. They asked me that they will provide some cashback if few digits are appearing on my credit card. (I think they wanted to check whether I am carrying a credit card or not) They brought it down to 1, 35, 000 for 10 years and talked about various EMIs with many further freebies including 2 weeks of extended nights. They said no company will provide such kind of offer costing less than Rs 2, 000 per night for such kind of hotel stay. I completely denied their offer and started leaving the venue as it was around 10:30 pm. My kids were impatient, they were starving. I was confused they invited me for dinner and here I am hungry and full of the future choice club property literature. They then very politely said that please collect your free voucher before leaving the office. I will take only 5 minutes.

Then he casually started talking that what resists you to take the offer so that he can provide feedback to the company. I said it might be useful, but it takes time to decide before spending such a huge amount for a middle class like me, and I may opt for it if you will provide me one day's time after exploring about the hotels. He then said it was already informed that any offer would be valid for today only, and he is not feeling great that we have wasted an hour. He then offered me another plan for 5 years, stating that though it is for senior citizens only, he will somehow manage it. INR 75, 000. I then also denied that I can't pay such an amount at once. I told that I can confirm it not today but will discuss with family and come back to you guys, but they forced us into this by saying that this is an exclusive offer only for females and advice that your wife can take this membership; he then said he would arrange EMI plan exclusively for me, and I can take back entire amount refund in 30 days if I do not enjoy my stay at their property. He showed some of the membership bought recently and said people who bought the membership plan thank them for making an asset. He then said I only have to pay Rs 6250 per month for such a stay for 5 years. He then showed on the calculator that per night stay is costing less than Rs 2, 000. My wife and I also seem convincing as the offer was lucrative, then finally inquired about the cancellation part again, where they told us that we could cancel our membership at any point in time. I finally fell into their trap and said them okay. Ankita immediately swiped my card for INR 70, 000, stating that we have offered you a discount of interest to be shared by credit card. I immediately got an email with a tax invoice for the amount. The mistake that I have made was, since my family was hungry, we immediately went to the dining area for dinner, and as we were having our dinner, she came back with some papers saying I am late for my home and it is far from here; we quickly need your signature for the paperwork and showed us the dotted lines were we need to sign. My wife and I signed without looking at what the papers are because we were feeding our kids.

I was not feeling happy on the whole episode went, wasting our time in some. They told me to share the photo ID proof to get my membership start. I came home, immediately log in to my laptop, researched the company, and it seems that it is a scam as the company was registered in 2020 only. There were many such scams mentioned on the internet. I was shocked to realize that fraud has happened to me and that I have lost my hard-earned money.

The next day (with-in 24 hours), I requested a refund of the fee paid. They replied with some mail asking about the preferred locations. On which I again asked for a refund. the reply was, "We regret to inform you that the cancellation cannot be processed against the specified reason; the membership is non-refundable as per agreement which is mutually signed."

This is a void agreement that can't be enforceable as it is a one-sided agreement that doesn't give me any right to cancel. the impugned contract is the one-sided standard form of contract (where the parties are not equal in the bargaining power)

Please help me get my money back since this is purely a fraud that has happened to me.

It's a fraud company ..don't go for free trial dinner and they for taking their membership ...once your card is swiped ..they will not contact you ..better plan for your holidays yourself ..don't come to listen them ..they make you fool and amount is not refundable.

Future choice club has a cooperative staff ..they themselves called me and ask about my problem ..as I discussed my problem with them though ..there was some misunderstanding because in anger I never contact with any of them ..I asked for cancellation and they refund all my amount with in two days .

Hi...Seems, we need to change the way to tackle such mulpractictioners.

As they ask for 45 mins only inclusive of dinner time so plan your time as sequenced under :
1. Dinner : 30 mins
2. Presentation
In this case if you are not convinced it would be easy to you to leave that place .
Pl. Check if it works.

You have taken the 25 years of membership from FCC & next day you have asked for the Refund or cancellation for your personal reasons.We have given you the offer to take at least 1 holiday after that if you'll not get satisfied then will look forward for the cancellation process.But you denied for this also & asked to Refund the amount after deduction of Admin fee(mutually agreed).
Future choice club even given you the refund but after receiving the refund you asked for the full refund that was not decided mutually.

I am also part of Future Choice Club fraudulent and unfair trade practices. Initially they do not disclose all the applicable conditions and even after sending cancellation request within 24 hours as per their terms and conditions not ready to refund complete amount. I am chasing for getting refund of full amount from last six months.

They are ready to sell their package in Gurgaon location however not ready for meeting to resolve issue in Gurgaon, still after having face to face discussion in their Noida office no resolution was provided.

Need advise how we can go further to get refund.

I am facing the same issue here, I have promised the different offer than what is mentioned in the agreement. Mr k s pandey convened me for a offer of 5+3( complementary) offer with 6night in ffc group hotels and 6 in other allies hotel in every year at rs 75000 rs. But agreement says 5 year with 6n stays only. Also terms like amc, save, advance, gift are misguided. No information of any of the hidden charges are discussed. These charges are mentioned in the agreement but in the discussion they projected all the services as free.

Like the others mentioned they came to me for signing the documents on my dining table during our dinner only. And not gave ous any chance to read the agreement. They simply said that all the things promised are there in the agreement. But it was a totally different agreement than what it was discussed mutually.

I have asked kripa shukla Pandey, there manager at hotel Holiday inn, gurgaon for the clarification. But unfortunately didn't received anything back till the time.

FCC team, please help me with this or in otherwise case please refund my amount back.

Hi All

I have visited the office of FCC located at Noida on 20th July 2021. There I met Mr Dharmendra regarding my case, later Mr Kripa Shankar Pandey joined ous in the same meeting. After a healthy conversation of about 1 hours, they came to a satisfactory conclusion and gave a good resolution.
I am happy with their Costomer care teams response on the matter and liked the way the took the process. They a good listener and have a good understanding.

Same thing exactly happened with me inch by inch ditto is done with me..I am residing in 82. sector.. and invited same location. I am struggling with my refund.. they are not picking my fone and said to me.. you can sell we will transfer it.. I want my refund.. my ICICI deduction of EMI is going.. That Lady Ankita.. same thing told me at the time of selling that it is refundable at the deduction of 11000 rs only and it will refund.. I am ready for that even 2-4 thousand more but they are not refunding.. Even they are not replying.. also they are harsh also on fone.. I am worried about my hard earned money.. At the time of selling they said it is refundable only with 11000 of charges will deduct.. Now they are sayign this is not possible no where its mentioned. They are not allowed to read that time.. but now they are giving only that reference..they are big cheaters.. PLEASE SOME ONE HELP ME ON REFUND.

We received a call and were told that you have won a 3N/4D trip voucher completely free. You can come and collect and you dont have to pay anything.
We went on 21/10/2021. On reaching, they told us before giving the vouchers we want to tell you about our company. So they started the presentation.
The first thing they told us was that our company is 10 years old. However, if you google and check Future choice has been registered in 2019.
They start showing you the hotels they offer and mesmerise you. Then they tell you that they are offering one time offer valid only for today in which you'll get 25 years of membership.
You have to pay one time payment plus AMC every year in which you’ll get 6N/7Days stay. I
If we don’t avail the holidays we can pay the AMC next year whenever we avail the holidays. And we only have to pay the AMC after availing the holidays.
And you can stop the process of the membership if you want during our welcome call and you’ll get the refund. They will not mention that 25% will be deducted.
Also, they mentioned you can avail your holidays of next year in advance.
We were somehow convinced by them after the presentation and the discount they offered.
So we made the payment. And they give you a form to fill your details which is same as the agreement but donot have the T&C attached to it.
After the payment they said we will make the agreement now for you till the time you have dinner.
When we came back they gave us the agreement to sign which was same as the form we filled earlier but also had T&C attached to it (see the photos uploaded). They directly tell you to sign the agreement without even letting us read the T&C. I tried to read the T&Cs, and found one point missing. So the representative told that you can go home and read and whatever is missing we will mail you in written.
We made the payment at 9:18 pm on 21/10/3021. After reaching home we read the T&C and realised that we have been cheated. The company is not even 2 years old. And T&C are not even matching with what was communicated with us. It was written that we have to pay the AMC 180 days in advance and that to every year. We were offered gold membership and told that you need to make booking of tour trip 7 days in advance. However, in T&C it was written gold members have to make booking 15 days in advance.
In the refund section it was mentioned that 25% will be deducted.
But after reading all this we right away mailed the company for cancellation at 12:27 am on 22/10/2021 (within 3 hours). We were not even registered till that time.
In morning we called Mr Abhishek Verma and asked him for cancellation. He told us you will have to visit noida office on 25/10/2021 and you will get your resolution there only. So we visited their office on Monday and met Mr Dharmendra. We asked him the same thing to cancel our membership and even told him that we have made of 160000 through credit card and will not be able to pay it if you don’t provide refund. We haven’t even received the welcome call yet. Please cancel our membership. So he told he can’t do anything right now but will talk to the management and reply through email in 48 hours. And we came back home. Still after all this we were registered and got a message from them at 5:19 pm stating ‘Welcome to Future choice club’ along with the User id and password.
And today we called them since we hadn’t heard from them and it had been more than 48 hours. So Mr Dharmendra told us that you just have two options. We will convert your membership to 10 years and we will refund you some amount or avail a trip and after that we will refund you your money after deducting 25%.
People be aware of such fraud companies. Hope you don’t come in their trap. Do read the T&C’s that I have attached as photos over here.
We want full refund as we were mislead and not disclosing the full information while presentation is wrong for the clients.
Please take some action.

I was also cheating by this fraud company. At the time of giving membership, they said AMC charges would be paid only once but now when we planned holiday then we got to know that we need to AMC annually after Availing every 6 nights which we were not informed earlier and our holiday experience was also worst hotel and services were not good. I just want to cancel my membership and get refund for this or I will have to take some legal action against the company and people who did not give proper information
