Gaana.com — auto-renewal done even though i had disabled the auto-renewal option. | |||
I had received 3 months of trial membership coupon code for gaana from paytm on march 12, 2020. I had used that coupon code from my account "[protected]@gmail.com" on gaana. My plan was set to auto-renew on june 9, 2020. They have an option to disable auto-renewal and i had disabled the auto-renewal option on june 5th. But they've went ahead with the auto renewal anyway! With a one year plan of rs. 399 What was the purpose of having a button to disable auto renewal if their intention is to do an auto-renewal without my consent. Perhaps they just want to fool the customers into thinking that the auto-renewal has been cancelled so that they can go ahead an charge the card without the customer noticing! They did this at 12:22 am today morning (June 9, 2020). This is fraud! I wonder how many people they've fooled like this. As you can see in the attached image of the email i received yesterday night (June 8, 2020) at 11:34 pm saying my membership is expiring. Then how can they renew it without my consent a few minutes later at 12:22 am today morning on june 9, 2020?! Please, please help me get a refund. I don't need their premium music service at all.
