This is regarding my experience of your service in GATI for transferring my home goods from Hyderabad, Telangana to Bhagalpur, Bihar, Docket No[protected]. I would like to mention that I had one of the worst experiences in using your service.
I spoke to customer care in Hyderabad who gave me the contact no. of Syed Mustafa([protected]). When I contacted him, I was given the wrong information and misled into giving money for the service which was not provided at all. I requested pickup on 23rd July 2021 from Hyderabad.
1) I was told that the transit time to carry the goods from Hyderabad(500084) to Bhagalpur(812005) would be 4-5 days and it would maximum take 7 days to reach the destination. The actual time taken was 10 days.
2) I was told to give extra money to carry the goods from Gati warehouse in Bhagalpur to the destination because the distance was 26KM. In reality, it's hardly 4-5KM. I told him the same and even showed him in maps but he did not agree with this.
3) I was also charged extra 1300/- for packing of the fridge which was not included in the actual bill.
4) All the cardboard boxes were severely damaged in the process. I had a transferred a fridge which was damaged to an extent that it's of no use and has stopped working. A lot of my books were lost.
On top of all this, I had continuously called customer care right from Wednesday(July 28th) to expedite the transit time but it was of no use. I had to personally visit Gati warehouse in Bhagalpur and request them the same. I had also raised multiple complaints online and through customer care (ticket[protected], CS183098 & CS183103) for which I was not contacted at all after raising them.
I would like to know as a service provider,
1) How are you going to compensate me for the physical damage made to the fridge & other items in boxes and loss of my books.
2) How are you going to compensate for the stress that I have taken during the process. I had patiently called everyday for 4-5 days but of no use.
I have mailed the same experience on Gati email ID. I keep getting response that my mail has been acknowledged and I'll get some resolution but there is no calls or emails after that.
