Recently on 01st Jan.2022 we were on a holiday to Manali where we were trapped by this genial holiday club by sales rep Mr. Mandeep.
We were also victim of their alluring tactics to trap the customer to buy their membership. We met Mr. Mandeep and Mr. sukhdeep singh. started listening to what they explained. These people are fraud. They trap u, don't be a a prey. They start with free gift voucher, then waste ur 3-4 hours for their so called presentation. Then they show u all the 5 star hotel, resorts, cottage, villa all over the world. But they don't reveal u the cost how much u have to pay. They tell u every flexible things about package like, u can share ur package with ur family friends and relatives, u can split the package, u can also borrow next year package also, but "nothing is mentioned in agreement". They even don't allow you to check their website for review, they just distract u. But they make sure you believe them so much that u even don't believe ur family that much. They send u agreement after a month. In that u ll find nothing flexible about package, if at all present then for that also u have to pay extra. In agreement they mention u can cancel membership within 7 days, but when u try to cancel they say it's not applicable for ur package. In agreement u receive after a month, in that also u get all local hotels, resorts. In agreement there are only approx 10 places where u book hotels but when they explained it is applied all over India. They are fraudsters, don't trust them.
We took the holiday package of Genial holiday for rupees 21600 (It was totally fake commitment we realized only when we went online to check reviews on 2nd Jan2022 the very next day). We visited the place where they stayed and they were ready to cancel the membership and they asked me to write application so I wrote application to cancel and after that they said it will take time to get cancel, I called them after few days to get status but he said (Rep Mandeep) started making different excuses and said GM is on leave as he is sick and we called him on daily basis but he stopped picking calls and after sometime he blocked contacts.
1.In resorts of India we can book anyone they told us within their property in India but when we received it was mentioned only 10 places where we can book hotels
2. No processing fee they said but it was debited from account a day later the transaction.
3. Interest free EMI but the bank charged interest on EMI.
4. Refund will be initiated fully if cancelled within a week (I.e. 7days) but every day some random guy calls asking to continue by hook or crook tactics. to pass time and end up saying we think you'll continue so no 7days passed. One day they started abusing us and said we will not cancel.
5. Email sent on Monday followed by calling to confirm. every time you'll get a random person calling what is your issue I'll try to sort it out firstly the people whom you met (Mr. Mandeep & Mr. Sukhdeep singh) will try to lure if not convinced the call center person calls then comes different different person. asking you again from the beginning.
6. They told us we can book total 10 days of vacation in their hotels, resorts but when we received agreement there mentioned only total of 5 days. They are not providing services what they promised to pay.
7. what is your experience if you ask me
A. Mental torture on forth coming EMI and interest,
B. Inconvenience due to repeated calling's with no end result as you know their intention to drag the issue and pass the time so you end up loosing all your money.
C. Harassments as they don't respond or pickup calls or mistreat and reluctant to pay what they owe to you.
D. Misleading attitude is their technique which for me was not possible to accept to continue as member with so much of contradiction.
E. Alluring customers to get membership on high superfluous projections.
F. Making customers to believe what they do not serve and they are looting the customers.
G. Money loss and mental harassment from their inappropriate behavior.
I request the firm genial holiday club to credit my Rs. 21, 600 without any deduction ASAP. as further delay incur us in paying EMI with interest. hope you will look into the matter like any other good organization.
