Genial Holiday Club Complaints & Reviews

I along with my parents were invited by genial holidays club & resorts on 01.09.2018 as there was some promotion going on at radiant hotel in kolkata. After listening to the offer and the plan they were offering we decided to go for a membership plan of 5 years. After having a discussion we paid rs 20000 and we were told that the membership will be of 1 year but we can do the first tour within 2 years and i have the option to upgrade to 5 years plan by paying only the difference amount that was in the offer period. There is also a amc of rs 7000 which needs to be paid before the holiday day is booked.

We were told that we only need to tell them the place we want to visit anywhere in india and they will arrange the accomodation fooding irrespective of their hotel or resort present in that location (If genial club has its own resort they will provide that else they will arrange another). This plan includes 4 adults holiday package for 6 nights and 7 days accomodation in a 4 star or 5 star hotel (Studio for accomodation).
Breakfast and lunch/dinner (Any one of lunch or dinner) will be complimentary. The other lunch or dinner will be at 60% discounted rate.
Cab, driver and guide will be arranged by the company without any additional charge. Pickup and drop will be given (40km complimentary). Extra kilometres will be charged @ rs 5 or rs. 6 per kilometre based on the location.
For sideseen also 40 km complimentary per day and extra will be charged @ rs 5 or rs. 6 per kilometre based on the location.
Along with that all hotel utilities can be used without any additional charge.

On top of this plan we were given a voucher which includes 2 night and 3 days holiday package where we need to pay an administrative fee of rs 2200. We were told when we will book holiday, this voucher will be clubbed along with the above mentioned plan and we will be able to enjoy the same benefits. That means i can enjoy a total of 8 nights and 9 days in total having all the benefits mentioned above. I already paid rs 20000. The extra i need to pay before i book for my trip is rs (2200+7000)= 9200 which will cover my 8 nights and 9 days and that can be availed in a splitted way.
But the agreement that i received doesn't say so many things and when i call the person who sold me that, i was told all these will be communicated to me via email in next 20 days. But when i contacted customer service, i was told they are not sure if so many things will be provided. They said a hard copy of the same will be sent to me in 1 month.
But the agreement that i received doesn't say what i was offered. It only provides the membership of 1 year which ends on august 2019 but it supposed to be august 2020. It include the entitlement of person which are 2 adults and 2 kids however it should be 4 adults. Along with that the breakfast and lunch/dinner voucher is also not there along with the document which was promised. The complimentary sideseen coverage and the pick/drop is also not mentioned in it.
I called customer service several times to resolve the issue and i was told initially that they are looking into the issue and now they stop answering the phone call.
Please let me know what need to be done.

We attend a seminar from genial team on 19 th, march. At barnala. We purchased a package of 60000 and they said that the rest of the details and the registration package will be sent to my home address with in week. It's already jan'27 but i haven't received anything yet. Even after repeated calls they always said that we've passed the details to our concerned department and they'll send the kit soon. I think i made a mistake and now i needed my money back. I don't want such a poor service...

Yesterday 20.02.2019 we had a call from genial holiday and they requested us to join their evening seminar. Initially i refused to go but they kept on calling and requesting to visit.

At last we agreed and visited the same evening following with worst experience and worst peoples.

We can say them as minded thief who used to convince or manipulate peoples to get their business.

We met with himanshu who was literally don't know how to deal with customer. He used abuse language like illiterate people.

As per him this is company's protocol that we should take decision to join or not on the table but my question is... Why we decide on the table.. Why we didn't take 24-48 yrs to take decision.. It clearly shows that the company is fraud...

When we told him that we need atleast 24hrs, he used abuse language with us. If he was polite and he knew how to deal customer in right way.. May be we accept to join membership.

Please take quick action against himanshu as this type of person doesn't being a part of growth of company. These are the part to finish and remove the company as well.

We took the holiday package of genial holiday for rupees 85000. It was totally fake commitment. We got gift voucher that is 200% fake..
And one more thing the sales person was not picking our phone call nor giving any response...
We went to hotel torquis in chandigarh which has tied up with genial holiday. It was a low standards hotel. Everyone in the hotel was blaming the services. We felt very bad that we purchased the holiday package from this company. Very much disappointed and we couldn't get any hotel that night. We have to come back at the same night.

We attended one of their seminars held at keys hotel on 14-oct-2018 and after the presentation we took 3yrs membership from them at a price of rs.30000.
The things which were promised included, that both main applicant and co-applicant will get membership card. But with membership kit we recieved membership card for main applicant only.
But when we are asking for card for co-applicant as promised. Then they are denying for this.

We attended one of their seminars held at a hotel in ludhiana and after the presentation we took 5yrs membership from them at a price of rs.60, 000.
The commitments included:
1. 7 nights (1 week) holiday at a premium category hotel for a family of 2 adults+ 2 kids every year for 5 years including breakfast at 4 * properties owned/ affiliated to them.
2. We will be required to pay amc of rs.7500 per year.
3. We can book holiday anywhere in india at their own/ affiliated hotels list of which went into hundreds or abroad (By paying applicable taxes)
4. We can take advance holidays. Means we can club nights from future years to current year and avail longer holiday.
5. We can gift these nights to our friends and relatives or book more than 1 rooms by consuming 1 day as 1 extra room.
6. 2 complimentary dinners were offered and documented in the form.

Now, when we are trying to make our 1st booking, they are giving 3* hotel and asking to pay rs 500 per day for breakfast making the prices much more than that available online or directly at hotel. The sales person is neither taking calls nor responding on phone and call center team saying they can't do anything.

Company is 100 percent fraud. They promise a lot and don't deliver anything. Make fake promises to sell their packages. They should be prosecuted and fined.
Promised and confirmed a reservation where actually there was none.
Totally fake and fraud. Only taking money and doing people. Some action needs to be taken so that no more people should face this fraud....

We were invited to attend a meeting for the membership of this company. After they gave the proposal and after clearing our doubts we opted for 3 years plan. This company is a total cheat the promises they made while selling the product mr nitin rao was the head at that time and he promised that there would be no problem while bookings and i will be their to assist you while bookings.
When i asked them for booking in december firstly they refused to give the booking in december which was promised by mr rao that u will get the booking at any given time when i contacted him he always says i will call in short while and call never comes back. Then i change the dates to january now the issue is that they r demanding for yearly charges and also saying we will give booking for 1 room only which is totally opposite of what was promised. While selling the product they said that first yearly charges are included in this membership fees you have to pay next year and you can book 2 rooms at a single time and that also they will be providing 2 studio apartments and on and on and on. Every promise is a fake wat all can i right here.
Everyone be aware of this company they r just making fool of the public and looting them.
Be aware and they don't buy the membership.
I am asking them to refund by membership fees or i will be taking them to the consumer court.

During our visit at nagpal residency, ludhiana, mr. Hemanshu tomar give us 5d/4n trial package (Worth 10, 000 rupees) including breakfast, airport pick/drop and amc waived off. They show us the 15-20 properties in goa but now when we planned our tour then they are telling only 01 property is available in goa. Now they asking more 9500 rupees and denied the airport pick/drop. Now when we calling for our hotel booking then executives of genial holiday club are misbehaving and using the abusive words.

Totaly fraud holiday club which are betrayed the peoples to sale their packages.

They are fraud. There company representative give fake promise and took 65000 for 5 year tour packages 7 days per year with family. But when we ask for hotel booking at goa. They said only 3 days booking available with extra 18000 payment. If i pay again 18000 for 4 people for 3 days the. Why they took 65000. They are cheater. Company cheat with us.

If some one get convinced with his deal and accept only than he talking in police otherwise if you refused their deal, their behavior get changed immediately and start talking non sense. I request to consumer court to take some strict action against such type of organization because this is not the only one who is looting peoples and harassing them. Their are number of such agencies.

They called me on 20th aug and assure to give tickets, but after many followups the result is same, they doesn't provide me anything,

The official number i guess they have only one line, that is always busy, we have to wait for hours to...

Genial holiday club is a fake company promising dinner in their promotional event and promise for giving out vouchers for 4* and 5* hotels and give vouchers of 2* and 3* properties and that too with paying advance for rs. 2200/- and give excuses for dinner i[censored] deny for taking their packages. So dnt go in their any promotional events i[censored] dnt want to waste your time and end up repenting by going there and i[censored] take their packages their is no guarantee that they will fulfill what they are going to give.

I attended their seminar at keys hotel ludhiana in april 2018 and took membership of rs. 45000 for 3 years for 3 weeks with goa tickets.

Now when i wanted to book the tickets they are saying they cannot have tickets which date i am asking, also i asked for a hotel booking in kasauli they refused it too saying that they doesn't have any property there. Also they asking me to say 1 week prior, but a time of membership they were...

Genial holiday club manager is rich we took 5yrs membership from as at a price of rs.85000 and every year rs 7100. Only 6 days in year.

The things which were promised included
1. 6n7d holiday at a premium category hotel for a family of 4 every year for 5 years including breakfast. The names listed included hotels like hyatt, radisson etc.
2. We will be required to pay amc of rs.7100 per year at the hotel...

I recieved a call from genial holiday club for free coupon for 3n/4d.
I paid 35k for 10 yrs membership on 30th jan in keys hotel ludhiana.
Mr. Bishon & mr ankit shukla was there. After that day i didn't recieved anything from that club. Even membership kit not issued till date 5th march. I am afraid that they have done a fraud with me to loot my money.
They make people fool and make money....
