Genial Holiday Club — Fraudlent in name of service - Genial Holiday Club

I am writing this complaint about a holiday club membership offered to me in Manali on 4th may 2023 by the representatives of Genial holiday club on the name of Lucky draw which was free of charge. Further, to avail the gift as per gift voucher some presentation for their membership was delivered to me and I was asked to become their member but I denied the offer. However, they convinced me to do a transaction of Rs.1 from my debit card in the name of free service, and It was assured and guaranteed that I have the ownership and I can cancel it anytime within 45 days if I do not want to take their service, by just dropping a mail to them.

On 13th May 2023, I informed them by telephonic call that I want to cancel the so-called membership due to a medical emergency in my home and I am not in a position to avail any of their services.

Later, on 16th May 2023, I dropped an email also to cancel the so-called membership but no action has been taken by them till date.
I even spoke to the MRD Department of Genial Holiday Club, Address:
On 15th May 2023, then at that time they said it is a non-refundable membership, whereas during our first discussion no such conditions was brought into my notice and they only assured that it can be cancelled anytime within 45 days.

Moreover, during my discussion with the club representative he told me that I have to pay the money and take their services and if any issue arises in the given service, only then it can be cancelled. Sir I have been trying to contact the representatives of the Genial club namely Mr. Shubham Krushali and Mr. Pratham Shah but they are not giving any proper response and giving excuses like they are busy, will call later in free time, will check with the manager about the cancellation process and update, check with their management.

Since then I am trying to contact them continuously, just to initiate the cancellation process but again they keep saying that I have to pay the money and take their services and that membership cannot be cancelled due to any other reasons. Now it is more like a mental torture and harassment to me by them, by forcing me to take their services without my consent which is an unethical and unlawful.
