Genpact — Ex employee[protected] no UAN

After 9 months of back and forth with genpactretiral.. group they are just giving me a run around requesting documents which are from 17 years ago for issuing me a UAN so that I check my PF balance on the EPFO website. I forgot about the PF withdrawal or transfer when I left Genpact to pursue a carrier abroad. I was able to send them my payslips, pan card, Adhaar card, a signed UAN letter, JDF, joining letter which luckily I found in a pile of paperwork in an old dusty closet. But the one thing I couldn’t find was relieving letter. If the payslips have my PF A/C number, my OHRID why are they not able to check in their systems for a relieving letter! I sent them the whole package of paperwork thought courier after 9 months of back & forth why did they not tell me before. I kept telling them that I don’t have a relieving letter but I was able to find some documents after extensive search in the storage. I believe PF is every Indian Citizens right and should not have to be undergo embarrassment or given the run around for trying to withdraw their PF! I mean it was Genpact who contacted me through email informing that my PF and whatever has accumulated in my PF was transferred to EPFO. I had totally forgotten about this PF. But when I became active about it like a year ago, I got no results from then till date. Why given the hope when in reality it was a wild goose chase!
