I had purchase a glen hob at VIVEK & CO at Tambaram west branch on 14/9/13. initially it works properly, after two months it started problem, while cooking the gas supply for the burners is suddenly reduced automatically and so the burners are not burning with its full efficiency.sometimes the burners burn with an unusual crackling sound after some time the burner will be back to normal form. it is happening 3-4 days in a week and we made complaint several times and the technician came and attended the complain, that time it works properly then the same problem occours.the technicians did not find the root cause of the problem.We find very difficult with the glen product and i hope that the Glen customer care will take necessary steps to rectify the problem as much as earlier.

    The trust we placed on a business representative of Glen was totally shattered today while I discovered the original MRP of products that we booked for purchase on 09/08/2014. My husband and I along with our two little children walked into the Glen showroom at Hebbal Outer Ring Road Bangalore, to purchase a chimney.The Business executive who interacted with us was Mr. Murthy. We were told about the chimney which carries this code: GL-6052 SS 60 CM 1000m3/hr.The executive quoted the MRP for this product as 29, 000.00 and that there is an Independence day offer going on which is a combo offer for a reduced price of the chimney along with a gas stove. We did not require the gas stove so requested him to give us a best price for the chimney alone and he quoted the best price to be 18, 600.00 after a lot of negotiation and TIME being spent in the showroom. His claim was that he could not give the chimney at this price as it was only meant to be the price while you purchase a gas stove along with it.We then thought we’d pick up a gas stove too if was at a reduced price because of the offer. We liked the gas stove that carries this code GL-1033 AI. The original MRP of this gas stove was quoted to be 12, 000. As a best price to purchase both the chimney and gas stove he quoted 18, 000 for chimney and 6, 000for the stove. We made a cash advance of Rs 15000 to come back later and settle the remaining amount and pick up the goods. I just happened to check the prices of these goods that I have booked online and was shocked to find that the MRP on the chimney was 18, 990 and MRP on the gas stove was 7, 990. I know that I still have purchased the goods at a price lower than the quoted MRP but the trust factor that we have on a business representative has been shattered. I will not regard this as a cheating and shattering of trust from Mr. Murthy but the same from Glen as a company. Because you have not ensured to instil a quality of honesty and trust building in your business representatives through training programmes and the like.

      I had purchased a GLEN kitchen hob in December 2013 from Gopu Nandilath GMart(a home appliances shop) at Edappally, Kerala, India. When we started using it by march 2014, we realized that the pan support is not leveled. We tried calling on your toll free number. But there was no answer. On contacting Gopu Nandilath, a person from service centre came to my house and verified the issue. But no actions were taken to fix it. We have been waiting for so long for some fix but nothing has happened so far. Requesting you to kindly look in to this and provide us with some fix.

        We bought "Glen 3 burner glass cooktop" just 3 months back. today my mother was cooking food in the kitchen and suddenly glass shattered with a blast. We are really lucky that she did not get any serious injury. But that is really a big problem and totally not safe. I want answer from Glen. I am a third year Chemical Engineering student at IIT Bombay and I have a large knowledge of materials including glass. Glen should have used a high temperature resistant glass for the cooktops. I am going to take action against Glen if I don't get satisfactory answer.

            Please don, t buy any glen product from Hyderabad . There is collusion between mr sandeep owner of vardhman enterprises himayatnagar and mr manoj glen person of Hyderabad. I had purchased a chimney from mr manoj 3 months back with 2 pipes for fitting. I paid every thing in advance including fitting charges. The glen person krishna came to my house cut down my chimney hood, telling me that this pipe cannot be fitted without cutting hood. After 2 month of continuous complaint I had one new hood from Delhi as my product was I in life time warranty. They ( sandeep, krishna) cut my dome to save one pipe for which I already paid money. Now mr sandeep of vardhman enterprises asking more money for new pipe . When I told them that it had already paid money for 2pipes and you had fitted only one pipe last time. He is saying do what ever you can I will neither give u pipe nor refund you money. In all this event mr manoj (glen hyderabad ) is helping mr sandeep and mr krishna rather than acting against them. Mr Manoj left half way my chimney fitting work and now responding. . That the reason complain is forwarded against mr sandeep and mr manoj in Delhi for there wrong doing. I hope good sence prevail and some action against them will be taken by there higher authorities. Otherwise buying glen product from Hyderabad specially from mr sandeep of vardhman enterprise is a nightmare. If iam able to with hold few to not to buy product from him, that is sufficient lession for mr sandeep.

                Filed a complaint for Burner leakage a week ago with Glen India service center - Chennai Chakara 37-A, Sir C.V.Raman Road, Alwarpet, Chennai-600018. Ph.:[protected] Complain No : 4455 They are not attending the complaint even after one week. Daily they give the status, it will be attended today. But no response. it is serious issue as gas is getting leaked.

                  We bought Glen GL 6002 SS SLBF 60 Chimney through Infiniti Retail Ltd on 22nd Feb 2013. We had ordered this chimney through Croma website. The product was duly deliverd and then we called Om Sai Solution for Installation.
                  I spoke to Sachin and then Sandeep , finally technician Sandeep came on 23rd Feb. Here started our issues with the chimney, to our surprise we were told there is no filter and we have to buy it separately and installation is not free ( much to our surprised compared with faber we have been using for more than 8 years now). Anyways we got it done and paid Rs 1300.
                  Chimney has not been functioning properly since the installation, repeated complaints have been made. Finally Sandeep came on 18th May inspected the product and said that he cant do much, his boss needs to do a site inspection. As per Sachin we must have all doors/windows closed and chimney cannot function better than this .
                  We are surprised and shocked with the response from authorised service agent of Glen Chimney, further once Croma called to tack feedback. When we informed them of our issues the person promptly responded we are sorry about this and thats the end of it.

                  I doubt if this croma belongs to TATA group.

                  Hopefully someone will call me.

                    I have a worst experience with Branded Glass Cook Top (GT – 1046) of "Glen India". I have purchased it on October 28, 2012 after paying a considerable amount and it’s hardly been 6 months that on May 06, 2013, it's glass blasted in really a pathetic and horrible way. My wife was cooking dinner and all of a sudden, we heard a sound.. “boooom”., it was like something blasted, we could not understand what has happened than we noticed that glass of Cook Top started melting and full glass broken from inside. It was really very hard to believe that a Company like “Glen India” can manufacture such products which are really dangerous and hazardous to health of anybody. It may cause serious hurt to my wife or my kid but thanks to that mighty God that nothing serious has happened.
                    On complaining regarding this, I am told by the Glen People that it’s not their fault and it may happen because it’s a glass. Surprised by their response, I approached the seniors and told them that if that is the case than it should be informed to the consumer/customer at the time of purchase which was never told even on asking the same. “I specifically asked for this at the time of purchase and I was told no it can never happen.” Anyway, than after my conversation with the spoke person of Glen India, I am confronted with below stated surprising facts:-
                    1. I am told that this Glass is not under warranty and I have to pay for replacement of the same.
                    2. I request them, if it is so risky than in that case I don’t want this cook top and please replace it with stainless steel cook top which is of less value, in respond to this, I am told that this again not possible.
                    3. I asked them what is / where is my fault, they said, they can’t do anything and maximum they can give me discount if I purchase new Cook Top of their Company;
                    4. I asked them in such a scenario, in any case I am at loss that either I have to bare cost of broken glass or to pay for new cook top (offered with Discount), they responded “Yes”;
                    5. I told them in how many days my problem will be resolved, I was told minimum 2-3 days, so that means I have to manage cooking on my own and they are least concerned with that;
                    Being a lawyer, It’s my moral duty towards society to bring such astonishing and shameful after sale service of the Company like Glen India for their consumer. Today I am feeling like burgled by a brand like Glen India.
                    I am unable to understand that why Glen India is selling such products, which are so dangerous for anybody’s life.

                      I bought Glen Appliance Chimney, GL 6057 SS - for Rs.15,990.00, SKU: GL 6057 SS, Suction: 890, Size: 60 cm.
                      I ordered it online and made a payment for 57,680 on 22/05/2012 for glen appliances viz. chimney and gas oven. I received both the products but within one month the chimney stopped working.

                      I called GLEN Customer care in Faridabad, Haryana and they said to call the local Moradabad Service center. After which they sent a man to check the chimney. When the man checked the chimney he said the motor needs to be replaced. I said the chimney is under warranty and without paying anything it can be replaced. Today is 9th April 2013 almost 11 months and I have not received the chimney motor part.

                      I have called the Glen Service Centres in Moradabad and in Haryana, have emailed them but no one is taking any action. All is giving false promises.

                      Please help me what can be done.

                        Hi , I have purchased a mini chopper of glen from online shop Home shop 18 February last year. I have not used the product much within a year one blade and a jar stopped working .I live alone and single i hardly use this chopper for my daily needs. i have contacted homeshop 18 help desk they said to take this to service center, the center is very far from my place in Patna . this is really an inconvenience for a consumer to go to tha palces and get things repaired when its not their fault .It is just the product which is irritating us . till date my query is unanswered. Can we do something about it.

                          Hello !!!

                          I had buy Glen mixer cum juicer model no. GL4014 but the plastic body is damage due to company settings. Every time its damaged when its start running, Very poor quality product. I will advice my friends "DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY". Look for other brands.

                          2ndly No timely service and non availibility of spare parts after several follow ups.

                          The plastic body of the mixer was damaged for which we called the service centers several times. Also, on their website - www.glenindia.com i have logged a compliant several times. This company should be shut if being in the consumer industry it cannot provide timely after sales service.

                          NOT VALUE FOR MONEY. NOT ADVICE TO BUY GLEN PRODUCT

                            Hi, Its quite shocking to find complaints against Glen and wonder if there has been a solution provided by the company after complaint lodged on the Consumer complaint Forum. I too purchased 3 gas burner stove from Vardhaman located in 4th Block Jayanagar, Bangalore of Glen and the glass top burst in pieces. I request help of Consumer Complaint Forum to help taking action against the company to avoid such mishaps.

                              i have purchase a glen 2 burner cook-top in my wife name Mrs Naina Kaushal from planet home Purnea on 19.08.2012. model no is GL-1032. serial no of guarantee card is 3531300. one of the burner (big) is not working proper & pot stand is not in proper level. i am an employee of state bank of India and posted at kariapatti branch, which is about 85 km far away from Purina. i have contacted the shop for this problem about one month ago. i am not able to remind regularly to the shopkeeper. i was contacting with service centre Patna to Mr sanjay thakur on his mobile no.[protected]. he was not replying me satisfactorily. thereafter i was contacted to customer care no[protected]. the person was conferencing with another person. she has assure to solve my problem. but still now no one have solve the problem & no body contacted in this regard neither phone nor personally.

                                Dear sir,

                                I purchaged Glen Gas stove & Chimney , Model no GL 6054-60 cm & GL 1041 GT on 11/ 04/ 2012 from LOTUS Home Appliances Thatipur, Gwalior, MP.

                                In mid night of 15-16 Oct 2012, I heard sound from my kitchen & found that the Glass top of gas stove craked.The gas stove is placed below kitchen Glen chimeny.it is also intimated that no solid/metal piece is fallen on the stove. It seems to be due to manufacturing defect.

                                Please look into the matter and replace the glass top at earliest.

                                  I have ordered GLEN FOOD PROCESSOR 4051 LX (Product Code[protected], Order No[protected] amounting to Rs. 3790/- .
                                  I placed the order on Oct 5th 2012 and they delilvered it on Oct 10th 2012.
                                  To my surprise I found that it is not working atall, the machine is not starting atall.

                                  Please replace it at the earliest.

After two months, they have returned to me that the product is not completely working. I have purchased Spice cell phone combo offer from your organisation it is also not working now.                                       I recently purchased Glen GL 4052 FP Food Processor 2 months back for 5500Rs. But since its arrival i am loosing my patience to call their customer care representatives. The machine is not functioning properly i already called their service center twice but in vain, again it has started giving problem. I am totally fed up with this item.                                         I am very much upset with Glen glass top gas stove-3 burner I purchased on 5/12/2011 for 7600/-. Very 1st day its glass got broken while cooking chapatti. When I complaint, your after sales people remarks surprised me, they say you cannot use wider Tawas on this stove, it will break. Did I buy this for show purpose? Finally first time they replaced glass free of cost, but with our first time experience really upset with this product , after...
