Title: Shocking Negligence by Glen Appliances – Wrong Parts, Delays, and No Resolution
I want to share my frustrating experience with Glen Appliances so that other customers are aware of the company’s atrocious after-sales service.
I purchased a Glen Multi-function OTG (35 Litres) on 17th August 2025. Within just two months, the appliance became unusable because the door does not close properly, leaving a two-finger gap that causes heat to escape.
What followed was a nightmare:
Repeated complaints were filed starting 29th October 2025.
A technician finally visited on 3rd November and confirmed the defect.
After a 10-day delay, Glen sent the wrong spare part, which their own technician admitted was useless.
To make matters worse, Glen’s system incorrectly recorded my purchase date as 2024, raising serious doubts about their record-keeping.
Despite providing photos, invoice copies, and repeated requests, Glen has avoided replacing or repairing the appliance.
This negligence has left me without a working OTG during the festive season. It is shocking that a reputed brand like Glen Appliances would treat its customers this way.
My request:
I urge Glen Appliances to replace the defective OTG immediately or provide a full refund. If not, I will escalate this matter to consumer protection authorities.
I am sharing this publicly so that other customers are warned about Glen’s poor service and lack of accountability.
