Refund not processed even after 4 months of flight cancellation

I had booked flight tickets on GoAir flight through Makemytrip.com. I have 3 PNR that were cancelled just 3 days before the travel date. I was already in Thailand and this last-minute cancellation caused a lot of inconvenience to me. I had to pay 1.5 lakh to book my return ticket at the last minute. I have not received the refund so far for these PNRs. I have contacted GoAir and Makemytrip many times, but there has been no proper response.br...

Hi,
I am writing this email With hopes of some helpful response instead of just an autogenerated email.

First of all I am extremely pissed with the kind of indifference that you guys show when it comes to responding to your customers. An autogenerated email either for feedback or some other unnecessary crap is all that the customer gets from your end in response to their queries regarding unresolved issues. Also to top it off, all of your customer support numbers are either invalid or out of service.

Now coming to the query again with hopes of getting a legit response with the right updates. As per the news on IRP's refund claim portal the customers have been asked to claim their refunds on the site and unfortunately the customers like me who has not booked the ticket from gofirst's official website cannot directly claim the refund on the refund claim site as the claim has to be raised from the agent's end that the flight has been booked through, hence I am willing to know if the claim has been placed yet and if there is any reference number of that claim that you can share and the latest update on the matter.

It's extremely unfair of you guys to keep the customers waiting in dark for their hard earned money with zero respect, response and updates on the changes that has been taking place in the whole scenario since the cancellation.

It would be great if you could share a customer support number too so that people instead of helplessly and blindly emailing you guys can get some information and support that's required from your end.

    My Travel date was May 2023 and I booked these tickets on Feb2023.

    Since airlines have cancelled the flight and it was initiated us just 2 days before my scheduled departure. This has hampered my plan and i have endup paying premium air fare due to shorter notice.

    Initially it was committed by airlines that 100% of my fare along with other charges will be refunded within 1 week.

    But later after several follow-ups, i was informed by airlines to submit refund request thru portal to speed up the refund process. Following the process said by GoAir team over call, i have submitted claim form on GOAIR Refund portal in the month of Jun 2023.

    Since then also there is no positive progress, and I am following for this request more than 3 months and still no commitment from airlines or thru the claim portal.

    I brought this issue to Indian govt avigation officials and written several emails to them but no positive support even from govt side. So now i wanted to make this issue to public forum to seek respective officials notice.

    I am fed up of follow-ups with several team but i will not give up.

      I am disappointed to inform you that Go First Airlines has already caused a considerable amount of inconvenience as I have not got the refund for the

      I have already submitted my claim on EaseMyClaim portal and submitted the required documents and have received the acknowledgement mail regarding it from gofirstclaims.[protected]@bom1plmcpnl502814.prod.bom1.secureserver.net

      Today It is 11th Aug 2023 but still I have not received the refund.

                Can i get any update regarding my request G[protected], it's been so many days i am continuously following up you guys but not getting any response. I am just getting frustrated because of you guys, i have already told you people that I have to pay my credit card bills and I can't pay the interest because of your company, Kindly don't delay my refund and give me an update within one day. Otherwise I have to take some strict actions against you.

                  I booked a flight from Abu Dhabi to Mumbai by go air airlines on 16 June. But now I see they are cancelling their flights day by day as I think it is certain that they will cancel mine as well I request that they should do it now and refund me fully as then I will be able to book another flight otherwise if you inform late I will not have another flights to replace it with. I have other connecting flights if I miss one I miss all of them and lose more than 30000.

                    Hi, My flight from Bangalore to Phuket dated 19th May 2023, and from Phuket to Bangalore dated 27th May 2023 was canceled by Go First ( Go AIR) and PNR for both tickets are I37L2L and F4K54V.

                    I spoke with Airline on 9th May 2023 about my refund and they said that a refund had been initiated and would be refunded to my account within 8-10 days however I haven't received it yet and now they are not taking any responsibility for my refund.

                    I need my money asap as it's around 1.5 lakh and it's stuck with them where I need to pay the bill for those tickets which I had to buy at a higher cost due to their cancellation.

                      Hi, We had to cancel our trip due to flight cancelation of flights by GO AIR, we had booked through clear trip, the flights were from Mumbai to Kochi and back, with travel dates on 9th May and return on 12th May for 4 passengers .

                      we cancelled the ticket but still have not received the refund, the travel agent has mailed stating they have not received the refund .
                      It is a very sad situation for a customer to keep chasing for his own refund, The airline (GO AIR) and service agent (Clear Trip) is just tossing the customer from one pillar to other .

                                Hello I have booked a ticket from Bangalore to Ranchi ticket for 12may but the flight got cancelled. When I asked about refund they said they’ve refunded our money but I didn’t get any mail.Then also I asked my agent about refund but they said till now they didn’t refunded.after that when I tried to call GoAir customer care they didn’t even pick my call.

                                    We had booked a fight from Mumbai to Amritsar for[protected]. However, the flight was cancelled on[protected] evening by the airlines citing "Operational Reasons".

                                    Details are as follows - Flight No. - G8 - 2417
                                    PNR No. - N62TFF

                                    There was no assistance from the airlines after cancellation. No alternate arrangements were made.

                                    Rs 12, 403 were paid as fare charges. In view of the hardships faced due to above actions of airlines i want compensation to the tune of 4 times of the fare paid.

                                      Such a bad service by GoFirst Airline. Worst then worst.

                                      I have booked my ticket 2 months ago for 3rd May and they cancelled my ticket on 2nd May.

                                      First 2 times they rescheduled and then they cancelled. Im trying to connect through customer care number but the number is also wrong. Unable to connect. Its coming busy. Is this is the way to provide service to your customers. Such a worst case scenario.

                                      At least provide us some other timing and flight to travel. Executive should communicate. Very bad experience.
