GoAir — services at domestic airport | |||
I had traveled to Chennai with my wife on 12th June 2019 vide flight G8303 PNR PDQFJH. I had requested for wheel chair assistance as I am 91 and my wife 86. I reached the airport at 3 pm. Our request for a wheel chair was met with the same response that they have none available. The ground floor has very less wash rooms and is quite far for an old person to walk. At 5.30 they got 2 wheel chairs and said that they will take us only after 6.10 so that if there is a gate change they will not need to wheel us again. It was raining at the airport. I somehow managed to climb the stairs but my wife was waiting down for them to cart her alongwith another old lady. Both of them got drenched in the rain while they were waiting for people to carry them up. My two old ladies were shivering in the cold. I would have expected some assistance from the hostess like a towel, a warm cup of tea. But we got no attention. I have traveled many times but never felt that I was travelling with no dignity. This will be my first and last travel by Go Air. I hope you will teach your staff to learn from Spice Jet ad Air India to become more humane. It is always not about your bottom lines only. The travelers are the ones that patronize you with money, hope you will learn to care for them. Was this information helpful? | |||
