[Resolved] Godrej Appliances — Delivered refrigerator of different capacity. | |||
On 5/7/20 my father in law madhab chandra bhandari, of gorkhara ghoshpara, sonarpur, south 24 parganas. Pin-700150 made an agreement with godrej sales executive mr. Debasis biswas bearing sales executive code 927695 for an exchange of old godrej refrigerator which was bought in 2008. He offered rs. 3500 as exchange value for a new refrigerator rdeduo 220 tdi 4.2 pswn of 220 lt. After discount the rate was fixed for the product of rs 18050. On that day rs. 500 was transferred through online and asked to deposit the rest rs.17550. We offered him for online/cheque payment but he insisted us for cash payment at the time of delivery. On 8/7/20 evening about 6.15 pm a refrigerator was delivered the same model but only of 205 lt in stead of 220lt, when only my old age in laws were present. Old refrigerator was also picked up without any document. And surprisingly the bill handed over of rs.19050 without citing any capacity 220 lt/205 lt. At 7.30 pm my father in law informed me the whole thing over phone as i am working in other district. Then and there i talked to mr debasis biswas at 8 pm as i was present at the time of agreement and whole discussion. During conversation i requested him to clarify the mistake and replace the product as we ordered for or refund the excess amount.. Till date he did not contact with us.
