[Resolved] Godrej Appliances — pathetic customer care and service centre | |||
The ac purchased about a year and half back started to stop cooling. When complained on 26th march they dismantled the whole unit, took to their workshop, made a bill of around rs. 6000, and then the ordeal started. The ac again stopped cooling within 10 days. When complained the filled gas and said all ok now. Again in 5 days the ac stopped cooling. Again complained, the same service centre guys came checked and could not find a leak. They again refilled gas and this was 3rd may. By this time i was pleading with them that the issue is somewhere else. Last sunday, 6th may, the ac again stopped cooling and on complaining again, the guys came on 8th, dismantled the ac saying they will again need it to take it to the service centre. Today, 10th may, the ac is still lying at my house with no one from the service centre coming to take it. Every day there is an excuse, and that they are coming in the next 2 hours to pick it up. When i reported this to the godrej call centre, the # on the phone said that i will need to call the service centre, and practically godrej has no responsibility (He did not mention this but his attitude meant the same), but he did say that you can get the work done from outside. So basically after spending 6000, and with all this nonsense, i will have to spend the money again for the same problem. Why do godrej have a call center then? To advise people that you can get the work done outside? I never had an attitude like this from any other multinational company. Dissapointed, dejected and outraged. I will make sure to spread the word that godrej deals with their customers in this fashion. Was this information helpful? | |||
