I have purchased godrej sofa set - 1 three seater and 3 single seaters in the month of october 2014. Recently a stitch of 5 inches in my 3-seater is lost.
I have booked the complaint to godrej customer care @ [protected] on 26th august 2017 and got the call number y[protected].
After a lapse of 4 days, i. E., on 30th august, 2017, 2 people came to my house and stated that complete leather need to be replaced with new one and it costs rs. 20000.
Though i asked him to just stitch the 5 inch gap, the service provider told it is not possible to stitch it.
Without sending estimation by your service centre, they simply closed the aforesaid call number given by service center and sent the closure sms from godrej helpline.
Subsequently, i contacted the helpline again and got a new call number y[protected] created on 4th sep, 2017 informing about non communication of quotation in order to take up repair work of sofa.
After receiving the second complaint by your helpline, they have simply sent an estimated cost of repairs to rs. 35660 without even contacting us.
For the purpose of stitching of 5 inches, is it justifiable to send such abnormal quotation?
This is nothing but exploitation of customer.
We want godrej top management team to look into this issue seriously and get this repaired by charging appropriate amount to stitch 5 inches
Besides initiating the stern action against the service centre incharge of hyderabad.
