Dear Sir,
I am a loyal customer of Godrej. I purchased Godrej Eon refrigerator, DAC+ Washing Machine, A Microwave, AC-19G3 Model during the last 2 years. But this time the deal which I made was really embarassing -
This is to inform you that I had placed an order for AC to Smart Care (Salesman - Anil Singh, code - 1720), on dt 5th Feb,12. I had given a cheque of full amount for Rs 19100/- for 3 star rated AC. I paid the amount through cheque No-542394 - HDFC Bank - 23-A, Nn Towers, Community Centre (Near Rani Bagh), Road No-44, Pitam Pura, N.Delhi-110034. The cheque was cleared from my account on dated 8th Feb'12.
Then I got the call from Mr. N.Malik on dt 22nd Feb,12 from Okhla Office and informed us that the model which we booked is not available. So, he requested us to convert our deal into a 2 star rated AC, Model no - GWC 18GG2 - 1.5 T. He confirmed us that the difference amount of Rs 2000 will be refunded to me.
Then he sent Mr. Anil Singh at our residence on 22nd Feb,12. He filled another order form No - 1483764 for the revised purchase and mentioned that delivery will be held on 24th Feb'12. He also took a written consent from me regarding the model change.
We never received the delivery till 26th night. Then I received a call from Mobile No. - [protected] at 9:37 pm. He claimed himself as Mr. Pankaj, Branch ManagMer,Delhi.
He told me that rates of the Air Conditioners have been revised and hence, Company is unable to deliver the product at the Old Price.
I was shocked to hear this. I failed to understand that how a company like Godrej can break the contract. If the contract has been made with the company, then it is the duty of the company to honour the contract. I hope that I will receive the AC and the difference amount at the earliest.

I have been a customer of Godrej since the past 24 years …
The first refrigerator that my parents purchased was of godrej and only after looking at the
Product we purchased a new refrigerator of godrej again …
But since Sept 07 the refrigerator has been faced with some issues …
Even after repeated complaints ( Ref number 640135 and 642099) there has been no progress
From the customer service end it was Mr Rakesh tat I got in touch with
And one of your Vashi Area engineer Mr Ram ( cell number [protected]) were the people I got in touch …
The Worst disappointment was from Mr Ram.. that after repeated calls to him as well he has simply turned me down..
Its been since sept 07 (3 months so far) and I am thoroughly disappointed from the customer service that is termed as SMART CARE
I hope that this mail brings to light the issues that I am facing
I sincerely don’t intent to take any steps such that your competitors will be benefited by my disappointed
