I purchased 3 vdps for my home last year in october. Recently i have been facing problems like static, voice breaking, the call button not responding when pressed etc. I called customer service on 12th september to log a complaint (D[protected]) but no body has visited my place to resolve the problem. To top it, when i received a call from one of their branches, the way their representative spoke on the phone : "let me tell you beforehand that our technician will only touch the vdp if you pay upfront" was not appreciated.

I received messages with the details of the technician but when i called at the number in the message, the technician said that he has no information about my complaint. I was promised that the technician will absolutely come on 28th but again the day passed and no one visited. I wrote to the email address provided on their website for complaints but no body has bothered to respond. This is very disappointing and pathetic customer service. I'll never buy a godrej product again nor would advice anyone to buy it

I have purchased a godrej tribolt door lock and it is under warranty. Recently the key got struck in the lock and could not be opened. Finally the key was broken and half of the key was struck inside. We brought a duplicate key maker who said the piece cannot be removed. As we had no other choice we had to break open a godrej 7 levers lock from the grills gate and also backside door lock. After entering the house from the back door the key maker dismantled the lock and removed the broken piece from the front side of the lock in his work shop.
Later on he tried to fit back the lock. But it was not possible because the person who installed the lock did not use proper screws (2). The key maker was helpless and left my house.
In the bargain i lost my 7 levers godrej lock, back door lock and another rs.1, 000-00 paid to the keymaker. Totally the inferior qualitytribolt key made me spent about 6 to 7 thousand.
Later on i contacted godrej company, and they sent a mechanic who took the lock to the workshop and got the fitted to my door. It is working fine.
I sent a letter to godrej co. Explaining the things and requested them to issue a duplicate key and also compensate me at least with a
Sum of rs. 4000/-. The company has refused my request.

Past 11 days my main door lock is not working. No. Of times I have contacted customer care and n no. Of mails but haven't received any help. Such worst service by godrej is not expected. Now I m searching email id of Adi Godrej . At least he should respond.
Godrej is pathetic. Total harassment by them. Don't purchase anything in future from godrej.

I have purchase godrej stilo locker from flipkart and it was delivered 9th june 2016. After i have call to service center they told that he will send engineer for installation. But when i call he is saying that you will provide convancy and money then i will come to your place fro installation. I have complain in godrej locker in toll free no but yet not my problem is not solved.
My complain id - 194318. At last i am ready for give money for installation and convency also but he has not come yet and service center is doing nothing. I am very frustrated with godrej locker service.

As a buyer i am very unsatisfied customer with this company.

we bought ASTRO 2C lock system from godrej, we unable to lock from inside and i contacted customer service they told we dont have service for in my area so that tecnician cant reach our place, so that we are stuck by purchasing your lock solution .. if you are not taking any action on this, i will not suggest godrej lock to anyone of ma family friends locality moreover i will go with a whats app to spread this incident

I have bought a godrej lock from your dealer in Rohtak, Haryana, India. Pin code 124001

The dealer had told me that the company person will come to install the lock . You just have to call the customer care. But when i called your representative said the area is not in our service area.
Now i am stood in a situation the dealer is also not giving a proper answer.

It is not accepted by a company like Godrej to treat their customers like that. Please look into the matter and get my lock installed. If not i will report the matter to consumer court and if there also nothing happens it would not be an issue to me but your company's reputation will be in danger.
I will advice everyone not to buy anything from godrej if they can't give you proper customer support.

I had bought a ultra twin bolt 1ck satin nickle (8269) on 23rd june 2016 and put in a request for installation on 24th june (Regtrd no: [protected]). I stand now to say that till today (30th june) the lock has not been installed in my premises.

On 25th june i got a call from a certain "basha" which i missed (Since i was in a meeting). After calling half an hour later the man had the gall to say that it was "my problem" that i did not pick up the phone when he called. He then went on to say that the installation will only happen on monday.

Guess what? No one contacted me on monday (27th june)

Yesterday (28th june) some one called me and told that it will be done at 10:00 pm in the night, which firstly is completely wrong (10 pm is no time to go to peoples houses for servicing). So i told him to come today (30th of june) and he has not showed up in stipulated time he was supposed to come.

This is appalling service from a reputed company such as yours and i will strongly recommend my peers not to indulge in any business (When it comes to locks) with your compmany

Following first mail sent to u: "with a great dissatisfaction, i have to inform you that i purchased a main door lock on 22nd june 2016 as old lock of godrej make (Night latch) only is not working n since then my period of harassment started for installation of this new lock. First i rang up several times to ur toll free number but i failed to connect with ur toll free number till night 12.30 am. There is no system o[censored]r toll free number calling back ur customer like me despite my call several times on 22nd.Instead of the shopkeeper giving us service, i had to be behind ur toll free number, chaudhuri trading, their mechanic etc till today. I have to catch flight early in the morning for hyderbad but despite my best efforts, i could not secure my home by installing new lock despite spending rs.2700.00 for a 🔐 n requesting the shop keeper, ur toll free no, choudhury trading n the mechanic several times n also informing that i have to catch flight early in the morning of monday. Night mare experience gained by me since 22nd june 2016 till today 26th june 2016 is worst service n beaten record of any govt dept.. Today i m writing to u fully disappointed n never imagined that i have to pass through all these agony. I could not go out of home for undertaking any work outside fearing that ur mechanic may come any time for installation.. Really night mare experience first with ur toll free number on 22nd june n then on 23rd june when my ticket no 136825 was generated, i wanted to complaint for 22nd june when none o[censored]r toll free number attended to my call, that operator after generating my ticket disconnected my call n did not give any information as to whom i can complaint or any email address where i can write n lodge my complaint.. I m still waiting for installation of a new godrej main door lock purchased on 22nd june 2016. U r only postponing every day n as per 3rd sms sent to me, it shows lies spread by u n ur company. I m going to raise it at appropriate forum. I could not go any where still waiting for ur mechanic. Tomorrow at 6 o clock, i will catch my flight for hyderbad, but i will expose u n ur company.. 1. * first godrej sms on 23rd at 11.35 am * received on 23rd june, thursday: "yr call no. Is k[protected], secret code is 263 share this with technician if completely satisfied with the service. For asst, call [protected]" 2. * 2nd godrej sms on 23rd at 11.46 am* "your ticket no 136825 for locks service is forwarded to chowdhury trading - [protected]. My door sensor lock key was not working and for that Godrej authorised repairing person inform to replace cylinder because duplicate key for digital sensor lock is not possible. I paid advance for new cylinder. He brought new cylinder 2 times but it did not work. This matter is not getting resolve since 3 months now. I have called up authorised repairing person for 20 times but looks like he is having problem. This seems to be surprised because Godrej is so popular in their prompt services.

A service call from phone no. [protected] was made for repair of door lock (Main door, euro profile, aura-brass type lock)on 29.04.2016.

Sms received from godrej indicated ticket no. 950255 and call no. G[protected].

No body till date attended the job.

Now we have received an sms saying "your service call no. G[protected] is completed" where as nobody from your service cell has ever visited our house.

Interestingly, godrej also provided a secret code to be shared with the technician if completely satisfied.

i dr puneet banga h no 691 lane no 7 lajpat rai marg gupta store road subhash nagar dehradun uttarakhand have registered several times for installation of godrej dead rim lock bolt... everytime on registering for installation confirmation is given with request no that their personnel will visit me in 24hrs & lock will be installed...one month has pass by and 4-5 request no has been given but no action taken... i would want now this lock to be installed as soon as possible...

Please note I had purchased a Godrej Cylindrical Silver Keyless Lock vide
Shopclues Order ID: [protected] and dispatched on 13-Feb-2016. The lock isn't working since 1 week. The technician is not responding to calls when approached nor the Customer support executive Mr.Swapnil is referring that technician's visit will be chargeable.
The product is under warranty and has to be repaired Free of Charge, then why there should be additional charges levied!!!

I recently purchased a Godrej Lock, Model- Ultra twinbolt (new), model no-8271 on the 5th Dec from Rajrani Trading, Bhubaneswar. As it did not have autolock facility, we requested the dealer for an exchange and he in turn placed an order for Model no-8264 with Gajanan Services.
The lock apparently was not in stock then and even after Three months and numerous reminders from us as well as the dealer, it is yet to be delivered to my location.
I then called up their their Customer support help line who advised me to mail their cust care regarding my problem. I recd a reply from them where in I was assured that Mr Dinabandhu of their office would get in touch with me to address the problem.
No action has been taken since.

I had purchased one godrej lock in first week of Feb 2016. I have been told that installation would be done within 72 hours but it’s not done in last 4 weeks (date of complaint - 7 Mar 2016 ). I have called vendor and Technician multiple times but with no success.

Dear sir,
I have been complain at godrej locks for nearly a month time and they have not put up any type of input in the service if the lick. They say its out of their service reach but i told them that i will send the product to them at my cost but then also they are not trying to help me i have called them again and again in[protected]. But they are not giving any response please help

I had purchased a Video Door Phone ST 4.3 from Amazon on 10th January, and it said I will be getting a free installation.
Even after regular follow up and request with godrej and Amazon helpline numbers, i am always guided with another number to talk to and register my complaint.
I have done this 4 times but still no action has been taken to send a person to my house to get the VDP installed and my house is literally lying without any lock.
This is sheer ignorance of customers and needs to be taken care of as we have paid and bought the product doesnt mean we have to keep running behind them for service which is to be done anyway.
Very poor service from Amazon and Godrej.

I have bought a Godrej Security Locker. The battery holder has got some problem since October second week. Hi i bought godrej video door phone kit ... they said that their person will do free installation ... but he came at 4 pm n at 5pm said my working hrs r complete ... n i ll come tomm ... but tomm i ll take my visit charges to complete your work ...he just leave the whole set up as such ... my camera was hanging on wall .. he didnt bother if it fell down or break ... i call coustomer care n tell them whole story ... they said person will come again ... but its almost 1 month now n nobody came yet ... this was my first n most probably last experiance with godrej ... bec i ll not buy anything from here ... Recently bought a Godrej cylindrical lock (product code 5329/ LKYPDC527). The feature on label says "Easy push button facility for locking from inside". After installation, came to realize that this lock always locks from inside and need a key to open it from outside. Checked with your customer care and your customer care executive "Adnan" was rude enough to explain that this lock works only with key and I should have checked these details while buying. Maybe i should keep away from your brand in future. Hope our Govt takes notice of these bad practices by our very own "Make in India" brands..

I have purchased a godrej vertibolt lock system on 18th Sept'2015 and I called the customer care for the free installation. I have tried many times both customer care and the so called agency for installing the lock at my house but no result. Its going to be 24th Sept 2015, almost 7 days passed away still no body called me for installation.
I am frustrated with calling the customer care and the agency ( so called Swastik Agency) for the installation of Godrej Vertibolt lock.
