[Resolved]  Godrej Properties — cancellation of booking

Address:Pune, Maharashtra, 411040

I have booked flat in Godrej 24 on pre launch day, April 28th, 2017 by paying Rs. 1, 000, 00 as token amount. As of now there is no agreement or sale deed has been made between me and builder.

Due to personal reasons, when I contacted Godrej 24 to cancel my booking, they are saying, there is no refund policy from Godrej and entire amount (1 lac) will be forfeited and considered as a cancellation charges.

Please assist to get refund of booking amount.

Godrej team contacted us and committed to resolve the issue and will refund the amount. They asked me close set the complaint as resolved. Now its more than 3 months I am still struggling to get the money back. Based on their positive approach and trusting on such a branded group, I closed the complaint .

Dear Godrej Team

Last time also a solution was provides and based on that i have changed the status of the complaint to resolved but still I am struggling for the same. I have gone thru the T& C and every where its mentions about of cancellation and fortifying the booking if I am a defaulter. My reason of cancellation is entirely different and non of your clause is meeting the same. Refer to my reason of cancellation, could you please share which clause exactly refers to my cancellation reason. Multiple clauses are there but all are only for defaulter case.

Now coming to the alternate option, I am not very confident on it.

Only I will request and suggest is that Godrej being a brand player must be supporting their customer on which people have trust and based on the trust only I have done the booking Else what is the difference between a branded player and cheap player if we have do an equal amount of investigation of the values system and quality

The status is showing resolved where we have an agreement that payment will be refunded but still struggling

We got a call from Godrej and were offered to visit 2 sites within the city with similar dimensions of our flat, this was a suitable workaround.
