Hello,
On Sept 17th 2023, I booked a property in Godrej Emerald Waters Pimpri Pune (RERA Registration number P[protected]) and paid them Rs. 1 lakh as a booking amount. I was assigned unit GEWT[protected] in Tower – 05).
On Sept 23rd 2023, I verbally cancelled this booking due to personal family matters. On Sept 25th 2023, I wrote a formal email to my sales manager Mr. Pushpendra Vishwakarma and my CRM Ms. Shradhashree Misra, to cancel this booking.
Since I canceled within 15 days of booking, under MahaRERA regulations I am entitled to a full refund of the booking amount. Ms. Shradhashree Misra acknowledged this in her email and assured me that I would surely receive my refund within 30 days, at the latest. She also sent me a proof, which showed that the booking was cancelled in Godrej Properties internal systems. Sales manager Mr. Pushpendra also assured me that I will receive the refund.
It is now past 60 days since the cancelation and I have still not received the refund. Every time I call my CRM Shradhashree Misra, she makes different excuses and gives me a new date by which I will receive my refund. Mr. Pushpendra doesn't answer my phone calls. I also sent a WhatsApp message to Mr. Abhijeet Das, a senior manager at Godrej Properties, but to no avail. In short, they are giving me a run-around.
I am really shocked and disappointed that a company of the caliber of Godrej Properties, is giving me such a run around when it comes to issuing refund.
I am posting this message to seek your help in obtaining the full refund as promised by Godrej Properties.
