Godrej Properties — Unjustified forfeiture of money, wrong commitment at the time of sale

We booked a flat in noida 43 godrej woods in March 2022

Here are the major points of consideration –

1. All this chaos began when Godrej marketing committed a different payment plan at the time of booking and ensured that the agreement payment mentioned in the contract will not be applicable since we booked when the property was already in middle of construction.

2. When we received back to back payment notices, we brought it up immediately in July 2022

3. In spiteful of the fact the matter was under dispute and they were trying to resolve it, they started accumulating interest components immediately. We objected and they said it was system generated.

4. When matter was under discussion and we asked 15 days to pay 10 %, at end of a week, they sent us termination notice. We objected again and they ensured it was a mistake from the central team who was following the
contract without being aware that the matter was under discussion.

5. Then they advised us to sell the property off, we asked for their help via your marketing team so that we can at least get our money back, they said - they will not help us. We reached to the property dealer contacts they provided and they said thatGodrej employee have informed them that the property is terminated and we can't sell it.

6.Then when we applied for home loan and asked for tri party agreement from them, and they imposed us pay the reinstated fee and interest components.

7. We started following up for a meeting with their project manager considering that a senior authority in godrej company may understand the pain we are in. They didn't respond for a week.

8. Then after 3 reminders, they responded by saying that thwir management is unavailable for rest of December and will be available in January 2023. You also mentioned that they will not wait and put the apartment on sale on 30 dec.

9.now they have sent us termination and forefeitted our money.

The agreement was sign on trust and we ended up losing our hard earned money to their bad faith.
