I made a booking through booking.com for 03/01/2019-06/01/2019 and it was cancelled by the host and didn’t even informed me. One day prior when I called them, they said sorry that booking has been cancelled and they have a different accommodation at different price but I wasn’t willing to pay a single penny above the amount I already paid them. Then I called Booking.com regarding this so they asked me to find a new accommodation and if there is any price difference then it would be paid by Booking.com for which I just need to aend them the invoice of my new booking. I sent the invoice to Booking.com and they sent me the amount of the price difference between this and my new booked accommodation. But the original amount of ₹4, 825/- which was supposed to be refunded by guesthouser has not been paid yet and it has been over more than 50 days today. Each and everyday they tell me a new story on call. They first told me that the refund has been initiated then they told me that Booking.com has already paid me. I explained them that booking.com has paid me the price difference between this and my new booking. Then they told me that they will talk to Booking.com regarding this and solve my query. They talked to Booking.com and said me that it was a misunderstanding between guesthouser and Booking.com and the refund has been initiated by guesthouser which I will get by end of January then they promised me for 10 February, 2019 then 15 February, 2019 then 19 February, 2019 then 25 February, 2019 and today they are telling me that it has already been paid by booking.com and I need to contact to my bank. I called my bank and they told me that there is no refund reflected to my bank.
