I booked 2bhk apartment in goa on nov, 2019 and paid 30000rs to them for 5days. Now, i received the message on 21st dec, 2019 that my booking is cancelled and then immediately got a call that host is denying to provide the apartment as the current market price is much higher for the apartment today. They did the last minute cancellation without prior intimation or discussion. Now, i even don't know whether i will get the refund or not....

provided incorrect information while book the room in ooty for my vacation

Hi team,
I have booked the room in ooty on may 18 (Check in) - may 19 (Check out). They confirmed the availability and paid the cash on online.
While i reached with my family on may 18 hotel receptionist said that room is not booked under your name please check with booking agency.
I have spent more than 2000 rs to reach that hotlel also.
I have called the customer help desk, after 40 minutes one of the representative pick the call and informed booking was cancelled due to unavailability.
I have asked them once availability is there then only we could able to book the room. They said that host informed there is no availability we will arrange the alternative. Suddenly they disconnected the call. I tried to call so many times but they didn't pick the call.
I went with my family along with two kids (2 years baby and 9 year boy).
They are unable to go to rest room also. Front of the hotel we are standing more than 2 hours no one arrange anything.
Our vacation plan was totally disappointed due to this issue.
On that time my wife was on period days. She wants to refresh but no one assist the hotel.
I have sent so many mail to [protected]@guesthouser.com but didn't receive any mail from them.
Please could you take necessary action against this company and get the compensation amount from that company.

This is regarding booking id [protected] on booking.com and booking id ynxgn on guesthouser.com.
I tried to book a 2 day stay at ooty from april 19, 2019 to april 21, 2019 with the help of a friend one month prior to my arrival. The friend's bookings got canceled on 14th april '19. Then i had to book from my own account where i got a property match named cottage room in ooty, by guesthouser 23560. The payment was non refundable but if i wouldn't pay beforehand my booking would be canceled.
So i made full payment of ₹4458 and got a confirmation mail from guesthouser and booking.com.
Since there was no contact number given of local owner, i called the customer care of guesthouser.com and received a response that they are in contact with the owner of the property and will get back to me in one hour.
I didn't get any call. I tried calling the number again and again and i was only put to the waiting queue. I sent a message on their chat as well as their facebook page. I didn't get any response for two days. So i went to the location given in the map only to find there were no properties as given in the photograph of that building.
My friend and i scanned the whole area on foot asking people if they have seen the building as given in the description in vicinity. Finally we found the building in a street after one hour.
But the owner of the hotel said that they don't take online bookings anymore. They have been telling guesthouser to close the inventory and stop sending them guests but there hasn't been any response. So their rooms were full and we didn't have any place to stay.
Thanks to the helpful people in the neighborhood, we got a place to bunk in after a hassle of 2 hours and thats how guesthouser spoiled our vacation.
Also, i got a mail after we checked in at the new place that my booking has been canceled at my request. The point is i never could contact them, let alone request them to cancel my booking. They are a complete fraud and even owners of the hotels in the neighborhood of ooty are tired of them.

booking cancelled and not refunding me the paid amount.

I made a booking through booking.com for 03/01/2019-06/01/2019 and it was cancelled by the host and didn’t even informed me. One day prior when I called them, they said sorry that booking has been cancelled and they have a different accommodation at different price but I wasn’t willing to pay a single penny above the amount I already paid them. Then I called Booking.com regarding this so they asked me to find a new accommodation and if there is any price difference then it would be paid by Booking.com for which I just need to aend them the invoice of my new booking. I sent the invoice to Booking.com and they sent me the amount of the price difference between this and my new booked accommodation. But the original amount of ₹4, 825/- which was supposed to be refunded by guesthouser has not been paid yet and it has been over more than 50 days today. Each and everyday they tell me a new story on call. They first told me that the refund has been initiated then they told me that Booking.com has already paid me. I explained them that booking.com has paid me the price difference between this and my new booking. Then they told me that they will talk to Booking.com regarding this and solve my query. They talked to Booking.com and said me that it was a misunderstanding between guesthouser and Booking.com and the refund has been initiated by guesthouser which I will get by end of January then they promised me for 10 February, 2019 then 15 February, 2019 then 19 February, 2019 then 25 February, 2019 and today they are telling me that it has already been paid by booking.com and I need to contact to my bank. I called my bank and they told me that there is no refund reflected to my bank.

I have booked a bungalow in alibaug, maharashtra on 8th december, 2018 online from booking.com. Guesthouser was the host of the property & told me to do full payment on the same day for confirmation. I did partial 5000 rs. Payment & assured to do remaining payment on 11th december, 2018. When i called on 11th december to complete the remaining payment, host guesthouser told me you need to complete the payment before 15 days from the check inn date & you will receive a link on your registered mail by than. So i waited for the link to be received. On 17.12.2018 i called to do further payment but to my surprise i got to know that my booking was cancelled by guesthouser as there was some renovation work going on at the property. I never received a call or mail regarding the same, i would have further waited for the mail i would have never known that the booking is cancelled. Further they told me they will give me a mail for the same, but that also never happened - executive who told me was neha from guesthouser. She told me someone from their end will call me & give me some other options, but to my bad luck that also never happened. I called them again on 21.12.2018, that i did not receive any call or mail for new property that i was told & my booking date was very close. They told me on first that they have cancelled my booking as i did not do the payment on time. So i told him to check the details i had with neha on 17th december, 2018 regarding the booking cancellation from property owner side. He checked the details & told me on special case he will refund my money within 8-10 working days. I also told him to mail me the details as i want to get a confirmation from your side. To which he denied. As i was on holiday i could not follow up much & once i was back in town i called them again on 03.01.2019. So there was mr. Sumit who told me they tried to do payment but were not able to do so and they needed my banking information. Now if they tried doing payment but could not they should have contacted me but they never call their customer or mail their customer unless they need payment. They never contacted me & i had to contact them. Again i told them i will send you my banking details and send the money as soon as possible as i need to do further payment to other know people of mine. To which they again replied they will be able to do payment within 8-10 working days. I am very much in sorrow that i have to follow up to get my own money back. Still have to fight for the money i gave for the services i never used have not been received back to me even after so many follow ups. I feel alone fighting with such a big company and could not see any more hope to get it back. Seeking help.

I was book hotel through GuestHouser on 31St Dec 2018, Booking ID: 51KKO. We had reached at hotel but hoteler decline our entry he said we not revived your booking. I had try to call GuestHouser many time but they block my number. Also sent emails still not any respond. I suggest people to do not use GuestHouser services. I loose 2542 rs.

I booked a property and paid in advance via booking.com. The reservation landed in guesthouser.com where the money as landed as well. Got told that the rooms were over booked and tried to find another one fir similar price. Once found the agent sent me an invoice that didn’t contain the already paid amount and woukd nit accept to put the reservation in their web stie in my account. I cancelled the booking via booking.com and received a notice that i should receive my refund within a week. It’s already 3 weeks niw and still no sign of refund which is no small summ: 538€!!! I will now try to make an official complaint to booking.com and hope it moves something.

The site provides false commitment. They commited a booking to us in dapoli with reference gkl8m. It was clearly mentioned that you can pay when you come on the site.
Later sms used to come with a link to pay.
Then without giving a call they cancelled the booking at the last moment.
Totally unreliable and false commitment.
We did not do any other booking and all our holiday and plan went for toss.

No refund after repeated, mail chat and calls

I had booked a banglow in mahabaleshwar (Booking no: pv3oy) but the property was not liveable. I had booked for 18th and 19th of june. I reached there with my family including 3 kids at 10pm on 18th night. There was no electricity at the property. The caretaker informed that there is a power supply problem and there is no backup power. They promised that the electricity will come quickly. We stayed there till 10:30 but no electricity. Strangely, a few house nearby had electricity.
It was a nightmare to find a hotel at that time of night specially with three small kids (Less than 3 years).
At the least, i am expecting a full refund. Ideally i should be compensated for the horrifying experience.
