Gujarat State Road Transport Corporation [GSRTC] — Overcrowding during Covid 19

It is with highest concern we are raising this complaint to GSRTC that the bus with route from Ahmedabad to Rajkot has been overcrowded and passengers are offered and made to seat next to each other and no social distancing concept is seen. While making the booking over the App, it's written that some seats are blocked for social distancing due to Covid 19 pandemic. But in reality it's not like that. Also, the staff (ticket checker and driver) are not following rules of wearing masks at all times and were seen arguing when asked to follow rules. For social distancing rule, the staff said that they have been informed from their respective offices that no more social distancing norm is in place and bus should be filled. Very strange to hear it. And a bus of Volvo category has been seen stopping on outskirts for taking passengers. Highly disappointing. Hope this complaint is read and responded to.
