Gulf Air — Harassment

I was denied boarding on Dec 10th 2022. I have a one year Indian VISA from the USA and I missed the 6 moth (180 day) exit/entry rule. Foreign nationals are supposed to exist after 180 days. For me, the exit and reenter date was on November 21st but my flight was on December 10th. In these cases, foreigners are supposed to go to an Immigration Office to get an exit VISA.

I understood my mistake and asked to get assistance with accessing Bangalore airport WiFi. I didn't have an Indian SIM card (and couldn't get an OTP) since I thought I was leaving the country. I asked two male attendants for assistance with accessing the WiFi and they told me to ask my husband for help. I thought they were confused so I told them that I'm travelling alone in India and they need to do their job and assist customers. Please note, I'm just asking for help with accessing the WiFi. They were extremely rude, hostile, and aggressive. The situation escalated until I was able to get out of the airport.

These two men were clearly unwell mentally and had some discriminatory ideas that prevented them from doing their jobs and being professional.
