Gurukul World School Mohali — Money laundering and played vulgar songs in annual function

A. Gurukul World School collected Rs 1500 from all the students for annual function

Gurukul World School Sector 69, SAS Nagar has enclosed unsigned memos in the school diary of children (from KG class onward) to deposit Rs 1500 for annual function charges on 16/11/2015.
Annual Function was held in Tagore Theatre on 16/12/2015 and participation has been made mandatory for all the students.
School has again enclosed a reminder in school diary on 19/11/2015. On 20/11/2015 school staff has started calling on the mobile phones of parents to deposit Rs 1500.

Teachers asked students of KG class onward to bring Rs 1500 in the classroom itself. A Clear violation of Beti Bachao Beti Padhao.


Gurukul World School Sector 69 did not issue Receipt for Rs 1500 collected from the parents. Any Child who had not paid was not invited to Tagore Theater. The Hall was full. Under which law schools collect such huge sum of money from parents on the basis o[censored]nsigned memo only?

Morerover, school forced all parents to pay this money Through Cash Only. Payment through Check or Credit card was not an option.

350 Students X Rs 1500 = Rs 5, 25, 000

School Just made a received entry on the School Diary. We have so many laws even against Chit Funds.

I request Income Tax Department, to trace the money trail for this amount.
Kindly punish the guilty, and make the records available to parents also,
so parents know if the money was spent by Gurukul World School for the intended purpose,
or Gurukul World School Sector 69 has simply duped the parents, and commited a Financial Fraud.

- In 2015 Students were given a sandwich and small Juice Packet. Parents were not served anything. So school incurred any expenses for 350 sandwitches and 350 Juice Packets Only.

C. School Refuses to disclose to parents, how the money was spent
Following questions sent to school through e-mail were not answered:
Fees ke ilava aur mangte ho, jitne hote hain sab bank ke through lau, Taanki proper record rahe
Koi Chit Fund company thodi chal rahi hai, Bina kisi official demand ke - aaj 1500 de do, aaj 500 de do

Tell me which law of counrty permits you to collect money like this?
Or as Movie Chalk N Duster puts it 'country's best business'

Parents se 6 Lakh ikathe kar liye Annual Function ke naam pe, batao tau sahi kharche kahan par? any audit?

1000 ke 1500 kyon kar diye ? Jyada kharcha kahan hua?
Poore kharch nahi hue tau Wapis karo.

1500 Rs lete hau, tau bina pooche proper receipt diya karo. Diary entring is not proper.

Is your 10th class result going to be better than last year? Any Targets? Woh mat poocho...

D. Similar process Followed for Annual Function in previous years also

For the Annual Function in 2014 the school followed a similar cruel process,
and collected Rs 1000 per Student

For estimated 350 Students
350 x 1000 = 3, 50, 000


I request Income Tax Department, to trace the money trail for this amount.

-During 2014 Students or their parents were not given any refreshment. So school did not incur any expenses on food.

E. Further, When issues were taken up with Teachers and School Principal Aneela Kinder, They not only did not pay any heed, But threatened Parents, with active support from Directors Rakesh Gupta and Rajesh Gupta
also followed it with systematic harassment of concerned students
Gurukul World School employs sub-standard Teachers.

Keeping in view the point E. I am keeping the complaint against Gurukul World School Sector 69 as Anonymous.

If any details are missing, please revert to me - As a law abiding citizen I will co-oprate and provide all evidence i can.

I hope after looking at the magnitude of cruelty against children, that Gurukul World School Sector 69, SAS Nagar has comitted.
its Directors Rakesh Gupta and Rajesh Gupta will be investigated for the threats they have given to children.
