I am writing to bring to your urgent attention the severe lack of public transport connectivity between Sonipat and Rohtak during the late evening hours. Currently, commuters face significant hardship as there are no Haryana Roadways buses available on this route after 6:00 PM.
The current private bus schedule is also highly irregular and insufficient:
There is one private bus at 6:30 PM.
The subsequent bus does not arrive until 8:15 PM.
This nearly two-hour gap leaves students, office-goers, and daily commuters stranded at the stands, often forcing them to rely on unsafe or expensive alternative transport. The absence of government-run buses during these peak hours is particularly concerning for the safety of passengers.
Request for Action:
To alleviate these problems, I request the department to introduce at least two additional government bus services in this interval. Specifically, a bus scheduled for 7:30 PM would be immensely helpful for the majority of commuters.
