Haryana Transport Department — inefficiency of the online booking system | |||||
Sir/ma'am, With all due respect, i would like to suggest you to provide the details of the booked tickets to your conductors/ticket person of the bus beforehand only as it causes a lot of confusion among the customers and overlaps happen between the online and offline bookings. Today, i was standing for 1 hour in the queue for a 4:50 a. M. Bus from karnal to delhi (As the online tickets were completely booked, otherwise i usually book online tickets only). I took 2 tickets (Seat no. 43-44) for myself and my sister for delhi. After 5 mins, two people came saying that they have their tickets booked for seat no 42-43 which caused confusion among us. The bus had almost started by now and the person who was cutting the tickets refused to help us. When the bus conductor came, i politely asked him that please ask the other passengers who have not paid for the tickets to adjust as i had already got my tickets (Which was the logical choice). But, the conductor misbehaved and said "bhaiya ye humaari galti nahi hai, tumhe pehle dekhna tha. Abb khade raho nahi toh kisi aur ke saath jaa kar baith jao" And let me tell you, the bus was fully filled. Then the conductor refused to refund my tickets so that i could get off and take another bus. Kindly look into this matter very seriously, as this may cause problems with customers in the future too.
