[Resolved]  Havells India — Fans are not working properly since installation

This is to inform that I am using all Havells products in my new house, wherever it can be installed. To meet my requirement, I procured Havells 5 Ceiling Fans (Yorker), 4 ceiling fans (24” / 36”), 4 Geysers, 2 Wall Fan etc. etc. having kept in mind, Havells is a very reputed company and one of the largest electrical equipment companies in India.

But sorry to state, it really worst experience with me. Since we have shifted in a new house, problem in three fans are being faced by me without fail. One fan created noise since its installation. So many nights were got disturbed. After so many requests, machine of one machine has changed but still it creates noise at the time of starting and anytime in between. Children scared at the time of switching on the fan. Hence, no permanent solution.

Another fan gets imbalanced when it started on and switched off. Two times two electricians have checked and not able to resolve the issue and the problem still persists. In the last occasion, one engineer came and checked and told that there is no role of Havells and I will charge for the same. When I informed that all are new fans and all are in warranty, he started clicking the photographs. Hence, still no resolution.

All other fans are also giving intolerable noise when it gets operated with the invertors.

I have raised so many complaints since its procurement, you may verify the same. Sometimes, without attending the calls, complaints are closed with the comments “Resolved issue” and on our request, the complaint is re-opened by the customer care.

I again submitted my grievance on 6th July, 2017. In response, one engineer called that he will charge Rs. 1000/-. You may verify the chain of grievances which I lodged through customer care since installation of the fans.

In this regard, I wish to submit that since the installation of fans, I am submitting my grievances through customer care and Havell’s technicians are not able to resolve it properly, now why they are demanding money. We are not aware what is the fault in the fans but we need resolution of the same.

Sir, if a Havell’s like company will not cater to the complaint of their customer, and how can a customer will rely on the branded companies? It is requested to kindly arrange to resolve the issue at the earliest.

It is requested to send some experienced technician who can resolve the issue attentatively. Hope for resolution.

Purchased Havells high speed fans and as there was problem with them asked for an exchange to normal speed fans and took swing fans. Now the dealer says instead of him paying me back the balance amount, he is demanding more amount from me.
