[Resolved] Havells India — havells ceiling fan wobbling, noise and finally jam issues | |||
This is in continuation to my previous complaint (https://www.consumercomplaints.inhavells-india-havells-fan-wobbling-and-noise-issues-c2027831) It’s been a year since i am facing continuous problems with havells fans – models are florence and troika. The worst part is the product quality and moreover the havells services. To cut the misery short below are the highly dissatisfaction points for the reference of naïve consumers who are thinking for havells products: 1. Florence model Worst quality despite of high prices. Initially it has wobbling issue which was fixed after lot of struggle, then noise issues which was fixed after opening the fan machine. And finally the fan is jammed which is yet to rectify. 2. Troika model It has noise issues, its plastic part over the wing looks really awesome and attracts customers, however while in operation air blows through the plastic part as a result it strikes with fan wings resulting in tik-tik noise. This is a design fault and technicians admit as well. To overcome it havells technician added a rubber washer so that plastic doesn't strike with fan wings. This somewhat (Not fully) sort out the problem but added an *risk* - the screws are loosen up very slowly - in the worst case it might cause a serious accident when fan is in operation. Now how i come to know about it. With last complaint i told technician to check the fan as tik-tik noise has started again. When he checked he told me that screws are loose that's why it is making noise and then he just tighten it. The technician himself was surprised with it since it's a huge risk. 3. Services With the 3rd class quality havells will provide you pathetic services not on the technician front but also from customer support front as well. 3.1 customer support: In case you want to talk to senior customer support member in order to escalate your complaint, you will have to call at least 3-5 times to havelles and every time one have to wait for 6-7 minutes. Today (24 aug 2018), at first attempt i had to call 5 times and then overall wait for 30 min before catching the senior; at 2nd attempt i called 3 times and waited for 15-20 mins. 3.2 false promises: The irony is even seniors will befool you by putting false promises. They will assure you to escalate the matter and update you in an hour or so. But believe me they will hardly come back and call back you. I have been in discussion with them since 1 year and its only single time when a lady senior support member called me back otherwise the senior members are seriously irresponsible. 3.3 technicians: They are seriously ridiculous. They will close your call with unbelievable reasons like customer is not having bill, he don’t want to take service, he is not picking the call etc etc. Believe me they don’t even bother to call you, instead you keep on following with them and they will not pick your call. For everyone information, i would like to let you all know that since last one year i have been raised tens of complaint without permanent solution and now finding really hard and struggling to cope up with havells services. I am seriously fed up now. Think multiple times before buying havells fans model florence and troika. Also, to be very honest, not all products are that faulty as explained above. I have purchased multiple products from havells like 2 heavy water motors, exhausts, basic model fans, wire, mcb, leds, concealed lights, water geysers etc. For my new house – all are working fine except florence and troika. Services for water pump is really good, in fact they close your complaint after taking your consent and also they call you for the feedback. Unfortunately such services are badly missed with fan support team and technicians. Just for information, sharing the complaint number (Hh166916) which is still unattended after 10 days even after multiple calls and follow ups.
