I bought a havells water heater - adonia digital 15 ltrs, baring serial no# h16ad15w1003453 on 1-may-2017 from bangalore.

Since the day i purchased this geyser, till date i had multiple issues with this unit. Right from the time it was installed, it would abruptly stop working, stopped functioning when max heating level set to 75 degree, internal circuit board failure, continuously tripping main switch, also burnt out inner component.

Listing down the complaint details i could trace from the time of installation for your record. For each complaint they had to make more than 2 visits to fix the issue temporarily.

It is very unfortunate to say that every time i raised a complaint for above issues, your service engineers came and did a temporary fixing. To solve the heating issue, your engineer set the max heating level to 65 degree instead of identifying and fixing the root cause.

Recently again the heater stopped and i raised a complaint on 13-apr-2019. The request was registered with reference number[protected]. A technician visited on 15th april identified the issue of electrical component failure and replaced the power plug on 17th april. While we asked them to wait till the heater reaches the max temperature, but they rushed away the moment it reached 66 degree saying it functions fine. Within 10 mins the heater stopped working. We called up and informed the issue to your technician immediately, shared image as well after draining out the warm water that the heater doesn’t work in spite of switching it on, but they didn't turn up yet.

Very disappointing to say all your technicians have failed us. They are incompetent to identify the actual problem and fix it. For any problem, their first advise would be to go for "servicing".

Past 2 years at least i raised 6 - 7 complaints for one or other failure. We didn't expect such poor quality as well as the after sales service from a reputed brand like "havells".

First impression is always the last impression, and i must say my first impression with "havells" didn't turn out good and the service quality does not match up to its brand name at all.

With so many problems with this water heater since last 2 years, it is very clear that this is a faulty unit. My havells water heater is still under comprehensive warranty and i sincerely request you to kindly replace my water heater unit with a good unit.

I sent a mail with detail information to "[protected]@havells.com" on 18-apr-2019 and also a follow-up mail on 19-apr-2019. Not a single acknowledgement from havells, neither any call. Not sure if any one monitoring that mail box.

My water heater got an issue once again and stopped working. I raised a complaint on 11th-Oct-2019 under service request no#[protected]. And this time the PCB board got burnt. Your technician (from SAMEER KHAN SLN Enterprises) visited today (14th-Oct-2019) and informed spare PCB board for ADONIA model is not currently available, it will take couple of days to procure. As usual, they were insisting to share the KKG code in the name to update in-progress status, though the issue is still open.

This was my 9th issue/complaint since 1-May-2017 the day I installed this Havells ADONIA water heater. I firmly believe that i was given a faulty unit by Havells, and in spite of my repeated request Havells ignored to replace my faulty unit when it was under warranty.
