My havells coral switches were not working and i had raised a request through customer care to get the switches replaced on 15th of july 2018. The switches were under warranty. The request (Hg150629) was allocated to a person called raju jana. He called me and visited my place. He checked the switches and confirmed me that the switches need to be ordered and replaced. After that he did not call me. I had called him 2 times and every time he told me that it will take 2 or 3 more days, he said, it is taking time due to the rains and bad weather conditions. However he never turned up after that. Today, after 16 days, when i called in the customer care again, they said that my request is in cancelled status as the service person said that i have not picked up his call to fix the appointment. It was very surprising and frustrating to me at the same time. I have asked the operator to provide me the escalation contact, however she said they do not have anything like that; hence they opened a new ticket again. The service person mr. Raju jana is now not reachable.
This is a very bad example of customer service by havells. They are fooling the customers with their warranty. Was this information helpful? |
