Hi,
Recently My family bought me an HCL Laptop and an HCL Computer as a gift.
I was very happy, but now that its been 2 months...I realise that there are defects.
From day 1 my LCD monitor's "enter" button does not work.so cant adjust the brightness and contrast.HCL people have come THRICE for this problem and none of them could solve it, rather asked us to call other "senior" people.when we contacted HCL they refused to replace the monitor, but said they'll repair it.
The question is, HOW CAN WE GET A DEFECTIVE SEALED MONITOR???

And the laptop, the hinges and almost broken [from seal]
mouse is very hard to use.
and the brightnesss contrast don't match so its very irritating working on this screen in which the contrast is too much...not good for my eyes.

before buying we had had a fight with the dealer because when we went to the shop he was being very rude.
but we thought that its the dealer who'se bad not the company...we should have known that this very company along with the dealer sucks too.

i have had a very bad expereince with this company till now -- 2 months.
and woouldnt suggest anybody to buy anything from this company.

HCL SUCKS, AND GIVES AWFUL DEFECTIVE PEICES.

Not providing new part(cabinet & hinge) on behalf of broken ones, instead of paying Rs.3500/- out of Rs.3680/-.No response from service center(Sarvochaya, Dhanbad) and extending the date from one and a half months.

Hopeless response from HCL management. Spoiling image of the company but this is the dark side of politics which goes on in HCL.

As a previous employee of HCL BPO, I too agree with this person. HR in HCL BPO think that they are the lord and the employees are slavesto lick their boots.There is one Sr. Manager called Yuvaraj Subbaraman according to me he is not even good for cleaning up the toilet. The training manager Shankar Kalavai is not form a single senteence in English. that is the condition in HCL BPO Chennai centers.

Totally agree with Mr.Ramanathan Yegyanarayanan had told. Though i informed to my Team Lead about my resignation prior to a month. I cannot able to meet the manager because of the calls, or i would say my TL never let me to express my resignation to the Manager. Whenever i went to meet the manager, they would say either he is in a meeting or he has gone out. Inspite of the fact that the Manager visits the team atleast thrice in a week, my TL tells that it is not a good manner to speak about it away from the Manager's cabin.

HCL BPO is not a worth for its brand these days, because of few corrupt people inside spoiling its name and the reputation.

Hey i received a similar letter like this. Don't believe it. Its completely fake. Pls don't get trapped by sending any money. Nothing will happen and ur money will get wasted. Someone is playing with the sentiments of jobseekers by giving name of a reputed company. I received several letters like this of Hitachi, Videocon and now HCL. These are all absurd. Just think why recruiters would charge u money for sending interview order letter? Pls ignore these type of letters as there is no truth in it.

I purchased a HCL laptop in Visakhapatnam (Andhra Pradesh) from a vendor with a condition of one year warranty. My laptop screen and fan got damaged before the warranty date, so i returned the laptop to my vendor. He took one month but he repaired only screen but not fan. He is taking again two months to repair the fan. So totally i am handicapped. Please do consider this.

I have an HCL leaptop z29 c20. From the start of my purchase I've been a lot of problems like speakers not working, lid loosen... I gave the system for service and spent around 10, 000 rs. But now again I've the following problem
- bluetooth device not working(I tried reinstalling the driver)
-lid s almost broken and loosen
-both speakers and the audio jacks not workin totally

Please provide me some suggetions...

Display of the monitor is not up to the mark

I am facing display problem in my HCL laptop. I had purchased it in Jan 2011. I had launched complaint and handovered the laptop to the service center at baroda. Next day on 09/12/2011, I received my laptop in working condition. But on asking for the problem in that, the service engineer suggested for formatting of the laptop for which HCL is not giving warranty and it will be charged 750 Rs. After that only they can diagnose if there is any hardware problem or not. Till that he can not guarantee that problem is resolved or not.

Now within 10 days, I am again facing the same problem.

Why service engineer can not identify the Hardware problem if it is so?? My warranty finished on 31st Dec 2011. I think this is done Intentionally so that after warranty period they can charge me heavily for the replacement of hardware.
