I am not sure how was the loan processed without informing me what the loan amount that was approved, interest rate and the EMI for a month. I feel this a very poor service or unplanned or unstandardized process that is followed by HDB. I am very much unhappy with the loan processing steps, as there is no prior communication regarding the loan amount, interest rate and what is the loan amount that was approved for. I received 2 calls from HDB.
1st one a person by name Manoj called to check if I have applied for the loan and what is the amount that I am looking for. 2nd time another person called to asking the details to fill the loan application and I informed the person that I am willing to do a BT for my existing 2 loans and I need 2.5L for renovation of my house. I was informed that I will receive a call with all the details before is loan is approved.Later the loan agent Kumar who collected my documents called me and asked me to reply to the below email and I clearly informed him that I have not received any information on the loan and how can I reply. He informed me once you reply to the below email a person from HDB will call with the loan details.
I had informed Manoj & kumar if the loans is not getting approved for 5lakhs along with the BT, then please do not process the loans as it will not serve any good to me.
I had followed up with the loan agent Kumar for a week regarding the same and he kept informing me that he will inform the person from HDB on the same and there was no update or a call regarding the loan.
Later I receive a text 22nd March that loan # 2346194 is disbursed in the amt of Rs364189 and when I called the loan agent kumar on the same he was unable to answer and informed that he will call back.
