I have been facing this issue with my relationship manager from HDFC - Sanchi Gaind. She is highly unprofessional and unresponsive to the calls.

Whenever I try to call her, her number is always busy or not reachable. Had this been the case of covid times, I would have understood but now its been a year and I am literally fed up with her.

My previous RM was genuinely helpful and solution oriented and look at this guy, doesn't really care what her clients' expect out of her.

I tried calling her for four months straight, with no luck. She never called back. In fact I receive text messages stating that my RM tried calling me but I never received any call from her.

Such a disgusting guy!

I am highly disappointed with her and just because of her I don't mind switching my account to any other bank.

    I opened a new salary account in your Film nagar branch hdfc bank on 30th June 2022 but till date i didn't received the welcome kit.
    They told me contact your nearest hdfc branch to complete my full kyc, I visted Film nagar branch and provided the pan and aadhar details which they asked for, They said within 2 days your kyc will be done and within 5 days you'll receieve your kit. But till date I have not receievde any update on my account
    Last 2 days i called in hdfc bank but many times he told we will check and transfer my call any other department but they didn't any response from your representative. As a requested to you please let me know when i received my welcome kit in my home address

      Am a policy holder of HDFC LIFE in the plan HDFC SL ProGrowth Super II and my policy number is 19239550.

      After payment of 5 annual payments of Rs.2 lakh each, beginning in April 2017, the 5th payment of Rs.2 lakh having been done in March 2021, we wanted to withdraw the sum completely after March 2022. To facilitate this we had been coordinating with officer concerned of HDFC LIFE. He directed us to visit the office to terminate the ECS option of payment. Accordingly, we had visited the HDFC LIFE office during the third week of May and completed the required formalities and the person who serviced us confirmed to us that there will be no more ECS presentation to the account. But, to our dismay the premium amount of Rs.2 lakh was debited from our account on 8th June, 2022. On conveying the same to the officer who was servicing us, he was also unaware as to how the account was debited even after we were told that the ECS payment had been terminated.

      With a view to sort out things, the officer informed us that the total amount available including the recent payment of Rs 2 lakhs in June was around 15.33 lakhs and that he could help in withdrawing the entire amount, as the process of reversing the debit of ECS of Rs 2 lakhs would be long drawn out and the easier thing to do would be to withdraw the entire corpus.

      Hence, the officer initiated the process for complete withdrawal in coordination with his colleague which i presume is from the centralised team. The colleague, over a video chat which started at around 2.30 pm on 10th June guided me on the process for complete withdrawal. She also confirmed that the sum assured was around Rs.15.33 lakhs, enquired as to why i was withdrawing the entire amount and then advised me on the documentation required for the same. All the documentation was completed immediately and she also confirmed that all the documentation was in order and the process for withdrawal of Rs.15.33 lakhs was set in place.

      Following this, on 11th June, i got a call from the HDFC centralised services confirming once again that the fund in my corpus was around Rs.15.33 lakhs and that this was not the right time to withdraw the funds and that if i needed the money so badly, i could withdraw around 5.5 lakhs and still retain the remaining amount and wait for the NAV to go up even further before i withdrew. But i clearly conveyed to the executive that i had decided on withdrawing the entire amount of around Rs.15.33 lakhs and didn't want to resort to partial withdrawal.

      After all this, there was a message received as SMS stating that 'the surrender payout of INR 1464641.98 against policy no. 19239550 was credited to my bank a/c via NEFT on 14/06/2022'. As can be understood, the amount credited is way less than the amount of around Rs 15.33 lakhs as conveyed to us by 3 different people, in 3 different instances on 3 different days. On contacting the officer who serviced us locally, regarding the shortfall it was conveyed to us that by the time 'surrender processing' was done, the NAV had reduced and hence the credit of lower amount of Rs 14.64 lakhs.

      But, i would like to bring to your notice that the amount of around Rs 15.33 lakhs was confirmed by three different people from your office at 3 different instances and mainly both at the time of initiation of the closure process with official over the video chat and with the call from your centralized team, the next day. Also at no time was it conveyed that this amount could vary subject to NAV prevalent at the time the processing would be undertaken at your office. Now, I as a customer will only go by what was conveyed to me at the time of initiation of closure assuming that those terms and conditions will be adhered to, by your office, and anything else is out of my purview. Hence, I as a customer cannot be penalized for the delay in processing that may have happened at your office leading to closure at lower NAV of my policy, because at the time of initiation of process of closure i was clearly told that the withdrawal amount was around Rs.15.33 lakhs and as a customer and is the general norm of processing in any industry, the value conveyed at the point of closure as conveyed to the customer is what is sacrosanct.
      Hence, i would request you to do the needful to ensure that the shortfall amount is credited to my account at the earliest, without further delay, as i must admit that this has been a very unpleasant and distasteful experience - being penalized for no fault of mine and then being made to run around to retrieve my own money.
      I also got an intimation saying that a TDS of Rs.13928.53 has been deducted whereas we were made to understand that there is no TDS deduction at all in HDFC Life policies and thus far no TDS was deducted in the earlier 2 policies that i had. Kindly clarify why the TDS has been deducted.
      Awaiting an early response and quick action on these issues.

        I got charged 5767.27, What I had in my account is 3, 443.65 only.

        But now it's -2, 321.62.

        First why this amount is debited from my account?

        Second if it's for tax, why don't you send me a notification like "pay this amount in a given time"?

        How could I run my errands with 0.rs in my account?

        Please refund my amount, I can pay you next month if there is any tax.

          Regarding A/c :[protected]

          This account is related to insurance with home loan account. I have requested for the closure of this insurance and processed on March. Later I got an sms notification to pay the amount and I did. But in my credit report it is showing as delayed payment for April.

          I used to track my credit report 100% on time payment now I can see a delay. Definitely as a customer point I am not aware...

              My Relationship Manager Srijoni Dhar is really unprofessional. I don't need any loan but she has been given wrong information, and trying to give me a high interest loan for her profit. It's really unacceptable. Even I've told her that I have a serious medical issues, My father has been suffering through cancer. But she is really heartless woman, forcing me to take loan, . As I refused that she got angry and she again and again called me to say "misbehave is not the solution". But may be she didn't know that she is the one who constantly asking to take high interest loan. I'm really disappointed about HDFC. Please ESCALATE this complain to the CEO /manager/ Supervisor

                Hi Team,

                This is inform you regarding the unprofessional behaviour of HDFC Customer Service Executive. To give short description of my issue, the total amount due on my card for the month of May, 22 was Rs.513569 where 23rd May, 2022 was the due date of the same & 30th May, 2022 is the next bill generation date.

                I had paid Rs.400000 on 22nd May, 2022 & Rs.113569 on 26th May, 2022. One payment was within the due date & one payment was within the next bill generation date.

                The next bill got generated on 31th May, 2022 which with the interest amount of Rs. 15362 & I gave the call to the HDFC customer care people mentioning that I had paid all the amount which was due & when I am getting charged more interest on the whole amount.

                They told they will try the reversal of the interest amount to the minimum extend. I told NO for their proposal of just providing the minimum amount.
                They then told to escalate it to the next level through the emails on customerservices.[protected]@hdfcbank.com starting for 16th June, 2022.

                One of the First Customer Service Office Md Azarudeen Arabi, offered the amount of Rs.10000 billed towards the finance charges on 22nd June, 2022. Then I replied to them asking the amount to paid after the reversal of Rs.10000 from Rs.15362 so that I can close the account.

                But another customer service office Vasanth R R came into picture after 3 days of the email, he started saying you need to pay the amount fully & the reversal will reviewed & will be done after you make the full payment due.

                In the meanwhile the due date of the June has passed due to the late response of the HDFC bank officials. Now the due amount of the same has increased to Rs. 19164 which I am not responsible for paying it.

                I again called the Customer Service People on 5th July, 2022 & described over the issue. First call was answered by Raj; then it was passed to the Ami Patel from the escalation team she told she was sent the internal email to the responsible people Md Arabi & Vasanth R R to look into the matter & opened the complaint number [protected]. (which was closed as soon I kept the call)

                Today in the morning I recieved the letter from HDFC Bank from the collection team, in that email it was mentioned that your Credit card is blocked & the amount of Rs.770 is blocked as the minimum payment. This was the unexpected behaviour from the HDFC Bank.

                When our talks on the amount disputes is not finalised, how they can action of blocking the amount from my Debit Account.

                Due to the above action, my loan account ECS has been bounced as they blocked the amount which impacted the EMI amount. Now I am responsible for the bounced charges from both the account (my savings as well as the another bank). Now who is responsible for the amount charges.

                Today as per the post recieved, I called the officer incharged on +91 [protected] - Lekha Vohra. Unfortunately she was not there & the call was answered by Miss Sonali. Who apparently seems to be a very rude & unprofessional person, when I started saying talks she told talk to the people who emailed you & all.. This is collection department & we have the rights to hold the money & all & she disconnected the call.

                The lady has no respect at all... That lady is a also a labour not any queen.. She cant talk to the person like this.. No one has given her any rights to insult others.

                  I initiated a transfer of 18000 on 10th July 2022. The amount was debited from my account and the beneficiary bank still does not recognize the transaction. It has been t+1 day and still, the funds are not credited back to the account.

                  I called customer care multiple times. One says wait for 24 hours. 24 hours passed. Again I called another person. He didn't know the process, I asked him if I can talk to someone else, and he hung up.

                  On another call I made, he (representative) said we don't follow RBI guidelines. We have our own process to handle issues with transactions. you wait for 10 days and then we will take your complaint officially.

                                This is my account [protected], in the month of 2nd june your bank intentionally debited the money in my account Rs 2944.1, when i contact ur hdfc bank they said i didn't use the terminal, but the terminal not working software issue, how can i use it? when i ask the merchant account person, they just refund Rs 588.82 later again debited on 16 june. i was waiting to see what will happen, now i want to ask u directly why u collect the charges at a time, what is ur bank intention, if we don't have anything u will remind multiple times, why we never use the machine not body could call me, everyone even i use the machine or not u collect the rent of the machine, later u collect these charges. how is it correct? at what circumstances u collect the charges at a time, b4 ur executes said when install device they said it was free, now ur bank collect the charges without no reason and create some fake reason as low usage charges

                                  I had taken pos machine from hdfc before covid, in that time we used the device later lock down the pos machine ( Mosambee device) software update issue, due customer not allow the bank in that time we never use the terminal later we noticed the device not working can't swipe the card. But one day suddenly HDFC bank taken the money Rs 3000 without having information, when i ask them they said bcoz i never the swipe machine. to cover their loose the steal the money to the customer, . if the device is working let me show to us. very very had service, illegally taken the money without give the information

                                      I have opened a joint NRI account with my Nale at HDFC Chinchwad branch after which I submitted a DD to deposit in my wife’s name. The DD was returned back due to a lack of proof for the source of the DD. The DD was from account closure from ICICI bank for which I had brought an account closure letter. But this letter was rejected at the branch to submit the DD and your employee Yogesh (HDFC Chinchwad Gaon, Pune branch) made insulting comments to me about have I had ever been outside of India before and do I even know how to NRI account works. I was shocked to hear this from your employee and how much he values the customers. I had a very good image of HDFC bank from my prior experience and did not believe this is how the customers are treated at your bank. I want to make a formal complaint against Yogesh for misbehaviour against customers and would like you to take some strict action or else I will be taking my business elsewhere.
