When I accidentally checked my account statement, I found a Rs.827 withdrawal without prior update. The transaction is narrated as "DEPOSITORY CHARGES".

I had a demat account with HDFC in last year, and I have closed it 6 months back. I guess HDFC is simply robbing my money from account with reference to the closed DEMAT account.

When I called Customer care, they were fooling me

FIRST TIME:
The lady forwarded to Automatic system. Which said that they already withdraw Rs.827 from my account. That's it. But I didn't get the reply to my questions

SECOND TIME:
The lady told me to go and contact bank branch. They say that these information cannot be checked by a customer care.

A customer care executive cannot say a word about my last transaction, which is readily available through automatic system on a button click... LOL

    I have salary account with hdfc bank on 18th jully in my account the Rs-220.60 has been deducted regarding this ADHOC STMT CHGS INCL ST & CESS and i took the statement for opening demat account when i am taking this statement i have asked them what is charge for 6 months statement, then they told it is charge for 110 rupees & but they debited 220 ruppes

    HDFC bank didn't issue Statement and any Passbook by which customer can keep update his own transaction book with banks statement. even bank did not any statement(free) for the taxation purpose.For account statement they charge Rs.100 each time. By this way bank charges extra to the customers.

      I am an NRI customer and had secured a home loan from HDFC bank thinking that they are a reputed bank and I would expect to receive an excellent customer service. But I am gutted with the Level of Customer service I have received till date. It all started when I had some queries regarding my account and had written to the customer service team in October 2010. Since they could not answer all my queries, I was requested to send my queries to the Branch Manager to Mr Sameer Sharma. So I wrote to him with all my queries in October 2010 & February 2011, but he did not have any courtesy to reply back to my emails.

      This year again during my visit to India, on 28 May 2011 I personally visited the Branch. As Mr Sharma was busy attending new customers and least bothered for existing customers, so I met Ms Beena and she wasn’t that helpful as I thought. Below is the conversation I had with her:

      My First question was regarding change of interest rate and to my surprise she asked me that If I am going to pay that difference money now? That was a ridiculous question to ask, did that mean that if I was not going to pay that money, then I have no right to ask her that question and was wasting her time?.

      I did also ask here regarding Mr Sharma not replying to me for the past 6 months for my queries and she replied that we hardly get time to look into emails and we are very busy? I would request HDFC to please remove the entire email id’s from your website as your staff are to busy to look into it.

      She said that since Mr Nimkar had handled my case she will try to send an email to the operations team and also brief Mr Nimkar when he returns back on Monday. Then she wrote an email to the operations team on an urgent basis and informed us that she should get an update by Tuesday i.e. 31 May 2011. I am not sure whether she really wrote that email or was she just trying to fob us off.

      Then I requested her to call me back with an update on the outcome of the email and gave her my mobile number. To my surprise again she replied that I have 10 different things to remember and we have just 1 thing to remember, so call me on Tuesday to get an update. Now that was really shocking, how could she say such a thing? Isn’t it is her duty to follow-up on my queries and let me know the outcome of it. So basically she refused to call me back.

      Then as soon as we finished our conversation she did something unexpected, she said “Puooh”. Now that was really rude of her. What was that for, is that how you treat your customers and she was happy that we left?

      Not to my surprise, as expected I did not receive any call from Ms Beena, so I had called their office @ 3.15pm trying to get an update, but I was informed that she was on lunch, so I left my name, number and account number with the receptionist and requested for a call back on Urgent basis and I was waiting for a call from your the Office until my departure from Mumbai i.e. 5 June 2011.

      I think that reputed banks maintain their Business ethics and standards, but looks like all of those standards and ethics are being overlooked and not being practically adhered. Mr Sharma also did not address all my concerns raised in my complain to him and conveniently ignored carelessness and behavioural issue in all his replies. He also ignored my request of 20 June 2011, to provide me the Head Office and Ombudsman complaints procedure, as I was not happy with the way my complaint was being dealt.

      I am still await a reply to my email of 26 June 2011 for the above matter from Mr Sharma HDFC Virar Branch. I don’t think that I would be recommending HDFC bank to any of my NRI colleagues as my experience was good enough for others to learn.

        Myself Rajeev Bahuguna.I am having an account with HDFC bank Central Market Punjabi Bagh NewDelhi-26 since last 10 years,.my acc no-[protected].i have made several cheque book request through ATM & Netbanking between december 2010 to june 2011.In between i have also called up customer care they told me i will get cheque book with in a week,but all was invain .as i have not got cheque book till date.my last cheque book request was on 24 june 2011 & request no-4492A0.i am very much disappointed.Now i am not able to make any transcation.today also i have called customer care my complaint no-049073.
        I want cheque book as soon as possible.
        if there is any issue to continue my account then inform me i will close my account very soon.

        Sir/ Madam,
        I have a savings account at the Sion branch of HDFC Mumbai.My husband also has a similar account. We have been identified as classic customers.
        Recently it took me a week to get a new cheque book. You do not issue cheque books at the banks but insist on mailing it to our residence by courier. We are both working (Doctors )—there is no one at home to receive the courier parcel .After the first courier visit –he left a -- I missed you note . I called up the courier company right away and gave him details of my neighbour to whom he could hand over the parcel the next day. I had left authorization note, identity card etc with my neighbour –but the courier person did not turn up for the next three days –citing the reason that he was short staffed! I literally had to call him daily enquiring about his impending visit.
        I find this exasperating – I cannot understand why I cannot get a simple item like a cheque book from the bank itself like so may other banks. Moreover we both opened accounts here at the neighbourhood bank since at that time they used to work on Sundays and it was convenient for both o[censored]s. Ofcourse promptly after that the bank changed its schedule to a regular week day working!
        I do not find any of the services customer friendly at all .
        I trust you will pay due attention to genuine problems.

        last more than 3 years i have been used HDFC bank i never got any problem , i am very sorry to say that your branch Patna Rajendra ram plaza exhibition road services are very worst condition . when my cheque book was finish ,i was applied in our nearest hdfc bank last 5 month i am waiting for our cheque book till now i am suffer i haven;t resived any check book so many time i call and e-mail too in your employee Mr.vivekanand Jha relationship manager he always given me wrong information never given me good respond ,so lastly i have decided i send them e-mail to you ,i hope you will be given me good respond to me

          Hi,
          I took HDFC Titanium credit card last month,after one month i got a message saying that you need to pay 274 rs as membership fee. I got the bill also, In the bill they have mentioned that as membership Fee of 274. I called the customer care executive and told the same thing they told me that it is annual Fee for the Titanium card ,and they told like. I have to pay that 274 now and after using the card for 10,000 with in 3 months that amount will return(274) back to me..But I have to pay the annual fee of rs 250 if I did not use the card for 10,000 with in 3 months.

          can you tell me what to do?

            To open a new establishment's proprietorship current account the HDFC Bank is strictly demending the cheque payment for the initial AQB deposit and voilating the RBI guidelines.

            I have submitted all the necessary documents required by the bank along with the duly filled form in HDFC Banks Peeragarhi Delhi branch on 04th July 2011 But they people have not opened my account till today nor they have returned my documents back even I have personally visited the banks branch as many as 6 times I have also drop two letters in regards of the matter in the branch's complaint n suggestion box but not received any reply
            They people are telling me that they will not open my account unless n until I will give them the initial amount required to be maintained as AQB through cheque only either from any of my savings or current account They people are misleading the facts by stating that these are KYC norms of RBI that no current account should be open through cash deposit of initial AQB
            You are requested to please intervene in the matter and state that weather it is mandatory to give a cheque of initial AQB amount at the time of opening the current account or it is just a malpractice adopted by the bank
            And if it is mandatory then you are also requested to please take such measures so that the bank should return my documents along with a letter stating the specific reason behind non opening of account as soon as possible because already 12 days has been passed.
            Is necessary to maintain aqb in private sector bank ? why RBI allow such type of thing to private bank .why do not aqb in gov sector bank. please control this. rules and regulation is equal for every one.because we are indian and bigest republic in this world.

            I think RBI sure takes nesseary action against this blgure gimic of private

                i had applied for home loan from HDFC for a flat in Amrapali terrace home. loan was sanctioned but now when the builder has raised the demand they are not disbursing the loan. other banks likes co operation bank, axis bank and india bulls are already disbursing loan on the same property. can any body tell me what legal action can i take regarding this.

                  Dear Sir,

                  I Saket Kumar had applied for Home loan from HDFC in NOV'10 and my file no. is[protected]. At that time I was working with Hero Honda Motors Ltd., Haridwar. Thus, due to this reason my file for home loan was sent to Haridwar for processing and accordingly the processing fee was also deducted from my account. The loan was sanctioned but at the time of final verification I had submitted the resignation at Hero Honda Motors at Haridwar and joined my new office M/s India Glycols Ltd. Noida on 09/02/11. I had also submitted my all the documents to HDFC in respect to my new job and the residence proof.
                  During my call few days back to HDFC I was informed that my loan is not being processed because the processing fee which was earlier deducted is not being remitted to the new Zone i.e NCR .As I have been shifted to NCR , my file will be re processed from NCR zone. Later on I had to issue a fresh cheque against Loan Processing fees. Thus, against a single loan I had to pay the processing fees twice. In this respect I had also made a written request to Mr. Shiv, who is looking after Sales in HDFC ltd. but no reply received till now.

                  As a customer I am facing lot of problems . Any one has the right to change his/her job, does it mean that due to this reason he has to face such a problem. I want, the refund of processing fees which was paid earlier to HDFC. Request you all to advise.

                    Dear Court,

                    I took Personal Loan from mentioned Bank of Rs. 50,000. (Loan A/C No.[protected] and also made 26 EMI of Rs. 1495/- without Skipping any EMI. But i lost my job in 2009 but then i was making cash payment every month but was representing my Cheque in my closed account after requesting so many times. For this reason, they add on Bouncing Charges every month. That's why i stopped making payments but now after 6 months i m getting so may unprofessional calls for recovery and harrsing me evry now and then. I am in touch with bank over phone but they are visting my home address and harrsing my family in front of my colony.

                    I am also looking for genuine settlement as i am in financial crunch.

                      i was issued a credit card from hdfc bank. i have clear the all bills but bank has not issued me noc so far and custmor service don't give me any kind of comlaint no or reffrence no.so pls issue the noc of my credit card (there are no any kind of pending bills and amount remaining) , before the writing this complaint i had taken many attempt with HDFC customer care, i had failed to get the NOC, I Want to draw attention through you,Please take the apporpiate action against them

                          I had applied in hdfc bank for credit card but my request was declined. verbaly they mentioned due to information from CIBIL my application was rejeted.

                          I want to know the details where i was mismanaged my finanial management. and how can I overcome with this.

                            EMI Dishonor Loan Charges
                            I am having one loan accounts with HDFC Bank Ltd. Delhi. I have a good track record of paying my EMIs in time. The loan Account Numbers is 14850462 having an EMI of Rs.4917.

                            As I have no money (due to job and a/c change) in my HDFC bank account from last one year, so HDFC Loan department charged me 450 Rs per month , while I was always paid my EMIs on time (HDFC please check your records) with-out any wrong intensions.

                            Now this month July 2011, I was shocked to know that I have to pay Rs. 7000 extra to HDFC bank due to non paying EMI on time.

                            Why nobody from HDFC told me about that extra charges, every month I paid the EMI on time.
                            I think there is only one motto of HDFC for that is to earn money in a wrong way.

                            Please anybody from HDFC can tell me or guide me why this happen and what next,
                            Does HDFC want that money from me, which is very illogical from my prospective?

                            I hope anybody will contact me and share the solution as we are in middle of this month and soon I will charge again for some extra money.

                            Now my queries are:-
                            1. What next about Rs 7000 which were forcefully charged on me.
                            2. I have a ECS form with me but want to know that before proceeding ECS must to clear this 7000 Rs amount which is due (forcefully) on me.
                            3. Why nobody from collection department told me about this monthly charged (I am surprised why they were waiting for, Is this called customer care )
                            4. Need a personal assistant to move up from this dilemma.
                            5. What is the process to pay my all money in one time and move away from all this?

                                First, i had despatch the pf form in nov'2010 1st week to HDFC SLIC HO Office, my PF number is MH/211273/27883, employee no 42100(amit
                                Vijay), i had downloaded the form from green page from hdfc slic site but the same was rejected when after 4 month,when i called to HO office that ur form was rejected and sent back to your address due to it was in old format.
                                my question is why 4 months time taken to respond to my pf form if it was old format that u should intimate the employee about the same
                                Secondly i had forwarded a new form to HO (form-19 and Form -10) along with 2 cancelled cheque copy via pod no 37279(patel express courier),along with all the formalities done in fresh but the acknowldge receipt is still not received to me after mailing so many reminders.


                                At PF office i enquired about how much time taken to get the pf money, they said wiht in 15 days an employee can get the pf amount to his a/c and he can apply immediately after resignation from the organistion.


                                Now,Please let me know how much time it would take to process my pf as its already 7 months and i am puzzled by the
                                process now

                                need your urgent action to be taken on this

                                  It is to inform u that on 11/03/07 i have purchased a hero honda cd deluxe bike and a person from hdfc bank has arranged remaining loans and emis ,for one and half years .i have completed every emi till now but due to three misses and later payment they told me that they have charged penalties of rs.2500 but if i pay rs.1000 then they will give me noc against registration certificate of the bike and after showing this at my local area transport authority office they will remove financing from my R.C.of the bike.i paid rs. 1000 to them but still now i have not got the NOC from the bank at my address or email and no wording from them still now.kindly do something about it at nyour earliest.

                                    With reference to my PF NO. MH / 211273 / 34792 , I was working with HDFC STANDARD LIFE INSURANCE Co.Indore Branch (m.p.) .I have joined the company on 22.07.2009, I had left the company in 22.09.2010 and submitted my resignation on their website portal "employee self services" and also submitted my resignation with their HR DEPTT. on Dated: 22.09.2010 personally in written and filled up all the exit forms respectively. and after six month I have fulfill all the document of PF withdrawal form on dated 23.03.2011 but after the span of till today I have not received my pf withdrawal settlement from their side. even though i have not received any satisfactory answer or reply from their hr deptt. side whenever i called or tried to attempt on telephone.

                                    I am very much in need of these funds , kindly help me to get all the dues at the earliest.

                                        Hi,
                                        I have Taken Credit Card ([protected].) from HDFC Bank. My Customer Id # is ID 20822593. It's almost two years down the line that HDFC Debt Collectors where calling me to Collect Outstanding Amount. I was Paying regularly, However They were claiming amount which I never Owe to them. I requested HDFC Several times to send me valid Statement of Card usage, however they never send me any report. Just before Two months they send me report which reflects that I owe HDFc Rs 20,000 only, however first they were asking me to pay Rs 40,000 then Rs 600000 and now around 1, 00,0000. I dispute this debt from Day One. HDFC Debt Collectors Called me Several Times and were asking for money Which I never owe them,. They disclose Debt Information with my Relatives and Friends, which is 100% imauthentic. HDFC Debt Collectors even Harrase me and Abuse me over the Phone. I requested them Several Times that I don't owe this amount but they forcefully asked me to pay whole amount. So as per RBI Guideline No Bank can Disclose Customers Information with Third party Nor any bank is allowed to Harrase any Customer. I request RBI to take appropriate actions aganist HDFC People, as I have Proof of each and every thing,. People told me that I can claim for Compensation from HDFC as Becuase of these people I Lost my Business and suffered a lot..I am continously sending them emails, however they are only buying time and not even trying to resolve matter. Moreover I told HDFC People at the first instance that I only want to go for written conversation, however they are telling me to give me contact no. So that I can talk to them. I personally have a bad experience of HDFC Debt Collectors as they usually use Non Professional Language.
                                        I can even give you email reference no.'s which I send to HDFC Executives.

                                        Hope you will take appropriate action against HDFC so that this matter can be resolved for ever.
